This is my first ever ‘daily makeup’ post on my blog *shocked face*!! I don’t know why I’ve not done one of these yet and this morning once I’d done my makeup I thought, why not? It’s quite simple and the products are all high street brands so it’s affordable too, whats not to love?
Step 1: Primer!!! I’ve been using the L’oreal infallible primer. It’s pretty good for a high street brand and recommend it if you’re on a budget.
Step 2: After primer I went straight in with my foundation. For daily use, recently I’ve been using Max Factor all day flawless 3 in 1 foundation in the shade warm almond. This stuff is so great!! It’s the best foundation I’ve found on the high street. At £12.99 it’s a little more than the regular brand but worth it.
Step 3: I decided against concealer for today so I did my eyebrows next. I just used Maybelline Master Brow palette. I absolutely adore this for my eyebrows! It includes wax, powder and a highlight and it’s all you need!! I know some people prefer pencils but if like me you work best with powder I honestly suggest this!!
Step 4: Next I did my eyes. I used Maybelline ‘The Nudes’ palette which has some lovely subtle shades for daily makeup. I use it quite a lot for in the day time when I don’t want ‘in your face’ eye makeup.
Please excuse the messy palette (oops). I used the first 2 shades on the top row and a small amount of the fourth one on the top row.
After the eyeshadow I applied Rimmel waterpoof liquid eyeliner (which I love) and Maybelline The Rocket mascara.
Step 5: Finishing touches! I used a little bit of the bronzer in the picture below which was swimming around in the bottom of my makeup bag. I’m not sure what it is but I think it might be Avon but I can’t find it online so I’ll be really sad if it runs out.
Then I applied L’oreal liquid highlighter in Icy Glow which I haven’t stopped talking about, I’m sorry but it’s just so pretty. Then I just added Mac’s velvet teddy lipstick, which is the only item I used that wasn’t high street makeup.. I just couldn’t help myself.
And that’s it, hope you like it. Let me know what you think 🙂
