My three fave foundations

I wanted to share with you guys what my ‘go to’ foundations are and give you a brief review of each one in case you were thinking of trying one of these!!

L’oreal True Match – £9.99

Firstly, my ‘every day’ foundation is L’oreal True Match in the shade Ivory. I bought this to take with me on holiday earlier this month and since then I’ve basically wore it every day. The coverage can be lighter than some foundations but you can really build it up if you want too without it looking cakey, which I do quite often because I like higher coverage. It’s super blend-able and feels velvety on the skin. It’s quite a satin finish and perfect for every day use! There is also a great range of colours so I’m sure you can find one that fits your skin tone.

Max Factor Facefinity all day flawless – £12.99

The Max Factor facefinity foundation is perfect for those days when you want a bit more coverage because your skins feeling a little worse for wear. I tend to use this one for when I’m going out to places like the cinema or for a little meal etc. I like the matte finish it gives and the fact that despite this finish, it isn’t drying at all. The foundation is 3 in 1, including primer, concealer and foundation. I use primer with it although I think that’s probably just a habit because I don’t think it necessarily needs it. I suppose that it’s quite pricey for a drugstore foundation, but I do think it’s one of the best ones on the market so It’s worth it. I always seem to come back to this foundation. I use the shade Warm Almond if you were wondering.

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation – £31

I absolutely adore this foundation and you can read my full review of it here. At £31 it is the most expensive and premium foundation on the list. I love it so much though. I have never tried a foundation with a better coverage than this one and the matte finish is somehow silky. I only wear this when I’m doing something a bit more special as I really can’t afford to wear it every single day, although I did use to. If you’re looking for a higher end foundation, I recommend getting yourself over to an Estee Lauder counter and asking for a sample for free! They will test you for a colour match and you’re good to go.  I wear the shade Cool Bone.

Do you have any of these foundations and what are your thoughts on them? Do you think you will try any of these out? Thanks for reading!!

For me, L’Oréal Accord Parfait is my favorite, but I’d love to try the other brands too! They all look very promising to me. What do you think about following each other? Your blog is amazing! xoxo
