Blogmas day 1: November Favourites

It’s my first ever Blogmas and I’m super excited!! I can’t wait to post Christmassy things throughout December and also read everybody else’s posts. I’m so excited for Christmas, all the amazing food, the Christmas movies, hot chocolate, gingerbread… ahh the list could go on and on!
I’m starting with my November favourites, which admittedly isn’t so Christmassy, but I promise you there will be plenty Christmas posts to come!!
Side note- I’m sorry for the awful pictures. I genuinely suck at photography.. Any tips?

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – £4.19 (at Superdrug)

I’m pretty sure I’m late on this bandwagon (suprise surprise) but I’ve actually only recently started using this concealer! I love it though and have used it every day this month. I have quite bad dark circles under my eyes and need a concealer with high coverage to conceal them. It’s been hard in the past to find one that does this, but this one is honestly amazing. It’s super creamy and easy to blend and also doesn’t crease!! I use the shade Fair, which I think, correct me if I’m wrong, is the palest shade.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – £3.99 (at Superdrug)

I’ve owned this powder for a while now, but never really needed to use a powder with my usual foundation. However, since I’ve started using L’oreal True Match, I’ve found I’ve needed a powder and this one is a great simple go to powder to stop you getting shiny. It’s so affordable and does the job. I use the shade Peach Glow, which to me sounds as if it should be a darker shade but it’s actually very pale.

MAC Amplified Creme Vegas Volt – £15.50 (at MAC)

I know MAC lipstick is fairly pricey, but I just love it. The quality is great. I know this one is actually pretty summery? But I’ve been loving it this November and you know what? Who cares if it’s really acceptable to wear a coral colour in November.

John Freda Sheer Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner – £5.99 each (at Superdrug)

This is a new purchase for me because I’ve had the ends of my hair dyed blonde and I wanted to get a shampoo that would help it stay blonder? I honestly didn’t research it much like usual (oops) I just went into Superdrug and picked a brand I though should be good. Thankfully luck was in my favour because this shampoo and conditioner feels so lovely on my hair and leaves it so soft and shiny. I feel like I haven’t had to wash my hair as often as well. I’m not sure it has brightened up the blonde at all which it does claim to do? but I’m not to bothered as long as it keeps the blonde looking fresh and shiny and not brassy. I usually spend less on shampoo and conditioner because I feel like you can get great ones for cheaper but I do think its worth it with these.

TRESemme Heat Defence Styling Spray 300ml – £5.25 (at Superdrug)
tresemme
Again, quite a new purchase but I’ve used it enough to know that I really love it. I never used a heat protective spray for a long time, which honestly is pretty silly of me, especially when I’ve always dyed my hair, I need to make sure I keep it in good condition. This smells great and feels nice in the hair as it makes it quite silky. I think TRESemme can be quite pricey but this is on offer for £2.61 in Superdrug at the moment and I got it for £3.50 in Tesco so I think you should be able to find an offer on it to make it a bit more affordable if you think it is a bit expensive.

Hope you enjoyed my first ever BLOGMAS post!!
