I hope you’re all enjoying my Blogmas post’s so far because I’m having so much fun posting every day. The extra work is totally worth it. Today I wanted to share with you what Liverpool (UK) is like at Christmastime. There are some really lovely festive things about here which I think are gorgeous and I’m sure some of you readers would appreciate them.
Markets
Firstly, there are some really nice Christmas markets directly across from where I am living whilst at Uni. I have walked through them a few times now and it always makes me feel so happy and Christmassy. They are mostly selling food and little unique gifts, like most markets I imagine! I love going to Christmas markets so I am really glad I have been able to visit some so easily this year.
Tree and bar
In the very centre of Liverpool there is an amazing multi-coloured light up tree which changes colour! (Pictured above) I love it because it is so modern and really unique. Underneath it, there is a Christmas bar which has little cabins all around for you to have a drink in. I had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows (as you can see)!!
Other decorations
All around Liverpool city centre there are lovely light up decorations which make the whole place super Christmassy and festive. You just can’t be in a bad mood. There is a traditional Christmas tree for people who aren’t as keen on the more modern one which I have already mentioned.
Coca Cola
I was sooo excited when I saw the Coca Cola van in Liverpool! So many people were queuing up for photo with it!! Unfortunately I didn’t have time to do that and just got a picture of the van itself. You know its Christmas when you see the Coca Cola advert!!!
Snowflake Trail
I have a whole post about the Snowflake Trail which you can read here. So I won’t go into too much detail, but basically there are some snowflakes all around town and you can follow a map to see them all. It’s such a great idea!

Nice xmas post 🙂 Love the fact you’ve seen the coca cola truck! lol I’ve always wanted to see that…would have to use the excuse of taking the kids to see it these days! 😛 My town has a tiny xmas market but I love going to Winchester or Bath as they have amazing xmas markets 🙂
