Blogmas day 19: Feel good books for Christmas time

For me, Christmas time is all about relaxing and re-charching for the new year ahead. Personally, I find much relaxation in a good ‘feel good’ book! I love reading all year round, but my book choice is highly dependent on the time of year and weather. Feel good books are perfect to read around Christmas.I decided to compile a list of my favourite books for lighter reading!

Anything by Dorothy Koomson

If you haven’t read any of Koomson’s books I really recommend you do!! Her characters are so funny and witty and really 3D. I suggest The Chocolate Run or Marshmallows for Breakfast for this time of the year!

Walking back to happiness by Lucy Dillon

I bought this book randomly because it was cheap in the works and seemed pretty decent. Turns out I loved it! It is the definition of a feel good book.

The Chocolate Lovers’ Club by Carole Matthews

Apparently, this book is part of a series but I have only read this one. I do intend to read the other books from the collection though. I really loved this and laughed the whole way through. Side note – The only Ebook I’ve ever read, although you can buy a ‘real’ copy of it too.

Ten things we did by Sarah Mlynowski

Out of everything on my list, this one is aimed at younger reads. Probably 15-17 ish. I read this a couple of years back but I did really enjoy it and would recommend it if you’re looking for an easy read.

Touch series by Laurie Faria Stolarz

I read all the books in this series a couple years back and it reignited my love for reading when I hadn’t read anything in a while.

Have you read any of these?
