Ride or Die makeup tag

I saw this tag recently on A Moment of Glam and loved it so I wanted to join it because it looked like fun. I hope you all enjoy reading my version of this tag and let me know in the comments below if you have done or plan to do this tag too!

Primer: Right now I’m using the L’oreal Infallible primer which is a decent primer but I wouldn’t say it’s ‘ride or die’. I’m actually looking for a new one which will smooth out texture on my face so if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE let me know!

Foundation: Definitely Estee Lauder double wear. Hands down, my favourite foundation to use. It’s not the cheapest but it feels so luxurious on the face and stays put all day long. I love how the finish is semi-matte so it isn’t too drying or dull looking on the skin and give off just enough of a dewy glow without looking shiny. it’s definitely a full coverage foundation and I imagine it would work great will all skin types. (I use the shade Cool Bone).

Concealer: This has to be the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I know this is a massive go to concealer for a lot of people and at £4.19, if you haven’t already tried it out I really suggest you do! The coverage is high (it manages to cover my hideous dark circles) and the concealer itself is super creamy and blendable. This product is always somewhere in my handbag.

Powder: For as long as I can remember by ride or die powder has been Rimmel Stay Matte! I use it to set my concealer and it does the job beautifully. My skin is quite dry so I don’t like a heavy powder and don’t ever go for loose ones so this one is perfect for me and I don’t have any plans on changing it. (I use Peach Glow)

Eyeliner: If I choose to do a liquid winger liner (which is often the case), I always use my Rimmel liquid liner in the waterproof version. I absolutely LOVE this liner. It doesn’t smudge or crumble and looks super black on the eye. I prefer this to any high end liner I’ve used.

Brows: Fairly recently I got the Anastasia Beverley Hills dipbrow pomade after a recommendation from a friend and oh my god *where have you been all my lifeeee*. Seriously this makes my brows look on FLEEK. It’s so easy to use as well with my Morphe small angled brush and spoolie. Love it.

Eye Palette: I’m sure you all know by now that my absolute ride or die eyeshadow palette is the ABH Modern Renaissance palette. I really won’t go into this too much because I must mention it on every single post but basically you NEED this palette.

Mascara: I use a mixture of mascaras usually but my top 3 have got to be the L’oreal volume million lashes fatale, Maybelline lash sensational and the MAC 3D Extreme Dimension. I like a mixture of the L’oreal and Maybelline on my upper lashes to give me ultimate volume and length and then the MAC one on my lower lash line. None of these seem to smudge or crumble which is great. I think the Maybelline one can clump a little if you’re not careful, which is why I like to mix with the L’oreal one. I realise this isn’t one ride or die mascara but what can you do hahha

Blush: Milani baked blush in luminoso. Amazing!!! I love this because it doesn’t have chunky glittery bits in it and just sits on the skin so nicely and blends out like a dream! I love that it’s baked because I’ve had it over a year and it doesn’t even look like it’s dented at all.

Bronzer: Avon bronzer!!!  I wish I could give you more details about this bronzer but I don’t have them. I have had it for so long and I’m hitting pan. I’ve tried to find it online and I have a feeling it must have been discontinued and if it has I will CRY. It has the perfect amount of shimmer and looks stunning on my pale skin.

Lipstick: Bit tough to choose just one because I’m a lipstick addict but I will choose the one I’ve been wearing a lot lately which is MAC Honeylove. This is the perfect matte nude which compliments any look and it’s really been my go to lately. It’s actually pretty creamy for a matte but it doesn’t bother me at all! Love it.

Highlight: I like quite an extreme highlight. Don’t get me wrong, the subtle ones are really pretty and ideal for some situations but the extreme ones are my weakness. My favourite one is the Laura Geller baked gelato swirl illuminator in Charming Pink. This is a stunning pale icy pink which looks gorgeous on the cheek bones and cupids bow. If you haven’t checked this out and you like a ultra glow to your skin, please take a look.

Perfume: I actually choose body mist’s over perfume these days so I will share with you my ride or die mist which is the Zoella Let’s Spritz! This featured in my 2016 favourites so if you want to read more about it, take a look here.
