January Favourites

I thought today would be a good day to share with you all the things I’ve been absolutely loving this month!! January seems to have gone on forever this year and it still isn’t quite over. But that has given me plenty of time to make some new great discoveries.

Winter scarf
The first thing I’m going to mention is my beautiful winter scarf from ASOS! (See it in the picture above). Michael got me this for my birthday at the start of the month and I’ve been obsessed since. The material is soft and thick and not itchy at all!! I think it’s complimented so many outfits this month and it’s definitely something I will be continuing to wear into February.

Lime Crime Velvetines in Faded
I ordered this from Beauty Bay after one of my friends said she loves these liquid lipsticks. I was pretty skeptical at first because in the past I haven’t been a liquid lipstick lover, however this has converted me. It doesn’t feel drying and it stays on all day. It’s also transfer proof, I haven’t got any lipstick marks on my early morning Costa cups!! ‘Faded’ is a gorgeous lilac colour which I adore because I don’t have anything remotely like it.

Lacoste Pour Elle sparking roll-on
This is something else that I got for my birthday. It came in a set with the spray and body wash. I love all of the items so much the smell is absolutely divine!!! I chose to include the roll-on in my January favourites because it has lived in my hand bag and been perfect for a little freshen up during the day.

Ted Baker ‘kiss’ lip balm
These lip balms come in a little set of three so make a lovely gift for a friend… or for yourself. I have been using the vanilla one non stop this month. My lips are sooo suffering in this weather and honestly this lip balm has been the only thing that helps. It also provides a good base when using a liquid lipstick.

W7 The Nudes mini eye shadow palette
I’ve been using this palette in the days quite a lot this month as it’s nothing too dramatic and you can create a nice mauvey brown smoke. This brand is also very reasonably priced. The shadows give kick back in the pan but there isn’t much fall out at all once the product is on your eye. The shadows feel very silky. It’s a great go to palette for a simple day look. – It comes with one of those sponge brushes but I threw it out, I use my Morphe & Eco Tools brushes instead.

Eyeronic Lashes
This company launched at the New Year and I seriously must have been one of the first to put an order in. The collection are all named after Disney Princess’s which appealed to me too much to say no. The lashes were about £10-£12 and last 20-25 wears!! I have wore my Jasmine ones quite a few times now and they are still looking fab! I also bought the style Merida. The lashes are made of silk and mingle in with your own lashes to create a natural flawless look. The styles I bought are perfect for daily wear as they aren’t too dramatic, this is what I like for lashes as my eyes are slightly hooded. I think these would look gorgeous on anyone. I apply mine using Duo lash glue. Buy yours here, I promise you won’t regret it.

Cath Kidston hand cream
Since Zoella’s hungry hands gingerbread hand cream, I’ve really got into using hand creams. It makes my hands feel so soft and nice!!! This Cath Kidston one feels soooo luxury, its thick and buttery and melts into your skin so nicely. It doesn’t leave hands feeling sticky or wet. The scent ‘meadow posy’ is so fresh and makes you feel very clean.

That’s it!! Have you tried any of these things? What are the things you have been loving this month? Let me know in the comments!
