Garnier Moisture Bomb tissue mask review

If you read my Superdrug haul from a couple of days ago, you’ll know I purchased a Garnier moisture bomb tissue mask. I’ve been super excited to try this because my skin has been suffering a little the past couple of days, I had a break out and since that my skin has felt dry and cracky somehow.
I hoped this mask would help so I waited for my breakout to clear up a little and then I went straight into using this!

I’m writing this after just having used the mask. I wanted to post about it straight away so I could remember exactly what I thought.
Tissue/sheet masks are super popular at the moment, every YouTube blogger none stop talks about the benefits of these masks! Sheet masks used to be fairly difficult to find -and/or expensive. It’s only quite recently that Garnier brought out this VERY budget friendly mask. You can get yours for just 99p here, which is super cheap for the amount of serum you get, and the quality of it.

The mask is infused with Pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid and plant serum. Pomegranate possess anti aging properties, which is definitely a huge benefit of this mask! Hyaluronic acid locks in moisture, which is what masks this mask feel super hydrating.
The mask claims to rehydrate skin, reduce the look of fine lines, plump up the skin and revive radiance. All these claims certainly seem attainable when looking at the above ingredients.

After thoroughly cleansing my skin, the first thing I noticed is that the tissue mask is literally soaked in serum! It’s not so much that it’s dripping everywhere but it’s definitely plenty.
The mask is easy to use, albeit slightly fiddly, but nothing you can’t overcome! You unfold the mask and take off the blue protective cover and apply to your face. There are cut outs for your eyes, nose and mouth which you do have to adjust about a bit to fit your personal face shape.
Once it’s on your face, you just lay back and relax for 15 minutes. The mask was very cooling on my face. Whilst using this I felt like I was in some luxurious spa, not some student halls in the city…

After the 15 minutes I took off the mask and massaged in the remaining serum on my face. For a minute or so – while the serum was soaking in – my skin felt a little sticky. This didn’t bother me personally. After it all soaked in my skin definitely felt very moisturised and a little plumper which I very excited about.
I will definitely be repurchasing this mask and using it once or twice a week, as I can tell with continued use this mask will have some great affects on my skin.
I think this would be a great mask to take with you on holiday to use while you’re away for a week in the sun and in need of a moisture boost.
For 99p you can’t go wrong, I hope that some other drugstore affordable brands will follow in Garnier’s footsteps and produce a sheet mask.

Have you tried this? what do you think?

Jazmin xx

Yes, I also reviewed this mask and I loved it! It felt very nourishing and even though it was sticky, I did see an improvement the next day. My face felt more plump… Lovely post! xoxo Sarah
