What’s in my travel bag? Skin & hair care

Hi everyone! It’s finally reading week at Uni. Thank God. I’ve been getting pretty stressed lately with all the assignments so this week is a perfect time to get on top of my work have chill out.
Me and Michael have come back to his house for the week. Since we came on the train, it was a matter of choosing what I REALLY needed to bring. I am the first to admit that I am terrible at cutting items down and only taking the minimum. I like to stuff as much as humanly possible in my case. This time I nipped to Primark to pick up two makeup/wash bags for £4 / £5. I have put all my wash things etc in one and all my makeup bits in the other! Everything fits so I guess I did an okay job of not bringing too much.

This post is going to cover what I have brought in the skin and hair care category (mostly skincare). I will be doing a makeup version in the coming days. I hope you enjoy!!

Nivea Pearl & Beauty deodorant
Obviously, couldn’t live for a week without this. I think this one as it smells super fresh and does the job.

Superdrug Creamy cleanser and Foam facial wash
As you may know, these are my favourite face skincare products. If you want to know why, check out my Face care routine. These went straight in the bag.

Contact lense solution
This was a must.. Contact lenses without the solution would be terrible.

Zoella shower glaze & ginger cream
I haven’t yet tried these, which is why I have brought them this week. I wanted something sealed and decently sized.

Zoella shower scrunchie
I’ve just thrown the body shop one away that I’ve been using as I think it’s super important to replace this often. I’m sure this one will be good.

Zoella Hungry Hands
I’ve got a definite addiction to hand cream. I hate washing my hands and not being able to apply some sort of cream. For me, this was necessary.

Champneys body scrub
This little scrub in a tube fit better in the bag than one in a pot. I’ve only used this once before and I did really enjoy it and it left my legs feeling good.

Lush bubblegum lip scrub & Ted Baker lip balm
I seriously have had this pot of Lush lip scrub forever, it never runs out! I can’t live without this when I’m planning on wearing a liquid lipstick. The TB lip balm is a really fab one. My lips feel moisturised for hours afterwards. It’s a good base for a drying lipstick and perfect to apply before bed.

PS Primark cotton rounds
These technically don’t fit in the bag but I thought i’d include them anyway. I picked these up for 50p in Primark today so I could stuff them in my case and keep the other packs I’m currently using at Uni. I haven’t actually tried these ones before so I hope they’re good.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
I’ve only recently started using dry shampoo again. I went through a phase of not having any just because I kept forgetting to buy it. Now I have no idea how I went without for so long. I chose this one mainly because of the packaging.

Nivea Micellar Water
This is the best micellar water that I’ve tried. I love that its for dry skin and it always leaves my skin feeling super clean and fresh. I couldn’t live without this, I go through it sooo quick.

Nivea Soft moisturiser
Obviously having dry skin it would be a nightmare if I forgot this. If you want to see my review of this, you can do so here.

That’s all. There is actually quite a lot of stuff considering I’m only here for a week… Did someone say high maintenance?
