What’s in my travel bag? – Makeup

Hi guys,
If you’ve been reading my blog recently you will have seen my ‘What’s in my travel bag?’ skin and hair care post from a couple of days ago! If you haven’t already seen that, then you can do so here.

I’m currently at my boyfriends, Michaels for a week as we have a week off uni (yay). So here’s what makeup I decided to bring with me in a new makeup/wash bag which I picked up from Primark for a fiver!!

L’oreal True Match foundation (Ivory)
I brought my go to drugstore foundation to use for an every day simple look. This is great, especially for the price. However I wouldn’t recommend it if you have super oily skin.

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation (cool bone)
I can’t live without this foundation. Honestly, it may be fairly pricey, but for me it is worth every penny! I wear this when I need that extra coverage which drugstore foundations just don’t seem to reach.

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (fair)
I think basically everyone has tried this concealer. I had to bring this to conceal my awful under eye circles. It’s a must.

Rimmel wake me up concealer (Ivory)
I like to use this concealer under my foundation usually, so I had to bring this one too.

Avon bronzer
I really love this bronzer and I’m gonna be so sad when it runs out because I’m pretty sure it’s been discontinued. It has a tiny bit of shimmer in it but not too much. Perfect!

Laura Geller baked gelato swirl illuminator(Charming pink)
I recently did a review on this highlight, which you can see here. I brought this along with me as my highlight for the week.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush (Lovely pink)
This is a super subtle shimmery blush which looks absolutely gorgeous on my fair skin. I think it works well as a blush topper too if you prefer a brighter looking blush.

Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder (Peach glow)
I’ve used this powder probably as long as I’ve been doing makeup. I like it to set my concealer and foundation. It’s a great drugstore go to powder for anyone looking for a new one.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Again, as with the Collection concealer, this is a super popular product that most people have tried at some point. It’s an awesome mascara from the drugstore adding volume and length. I chose this one out of my many masacara’s and stuck it in my makeup bag.

MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Mascara
I decided to bring along this little sample to use on my bottom lashes. I think it looks lovely on them and catching and separating each lash. I’m looking at buying the full size.

L’oreal Infallible Primer
Obviously I brought my go to primer! I don’t use any other primers but I do want to try another one soon. This one’s great though at increasing the longevity of my makeup and smoothing out the pores a decent amount.

Rimmel Scandal’Eyes nude kohl liner
This pencil new liner is a new purchase which I have been enjoying using in my waterline to make my eyes look bigger and fresher. It didn’t take up much room so I stuck it in my makeup bag at the last minute.

Rimmel waterproof black liquid liner
If you’ve read any of my blog posts, you will have probably seen me rave about this liquid liner! It’s much better than any high end liner’s I’ve tried. It’s super black, stays on all day, doesn’t smudge and is fairly easy to apply. If you’ve not tried it, please do!! I had to bring this along, I can’t live without a little wing.

W7 The Nudes eyeshadow palette
I mentioned this cute little palette in my January Favourites post. It’s perfect for a simple daily look and is a great size for sticking in a travel bag.

Kat Von D Everlasting liquid lipstick – Lolita
This is quite a new lipstick for me. Lolita is probably one of the most popular shades in this range and I think it looks gorgeous. I’ve been wearing this quite a lot lately so I definitely had to bring it.

Lime Crime Velvetines liquid lipstick – Faded
Lime Crime do the best liquid lipsticks and I’m definitely going to buy another one soon. ‘Faded’ is a lovely lilac shade. I think it suits my fair skin.

Mac lipsticks – Velvet Teddy, Diva, Pink Plaid & Honeylove
All of these Mac lipsticks are matte and are my favourites! I know I probably brought too many lipsticks with me for just a week but I couldn’t decide which ones to bring!!

And that’s it for what’s in my travel bag!!! I also brought along with me the NYX Beauty School Dropout palette, which I haven’t stopped talking about on my blog.

Thanks for reading,

Jazmin xx
