Makeup look using the NYX Beauty School dropout palette!!

I’ve been creating a few different makeup looks using this NYX Beauty School Dropout palette lately which you may have already seen on my blog! If you haven’t seen them you can see a blue toned one here and a purple/lilac one here.
This time, I wanted to create a look using the oranges in the palette.
This look would be perfect for the summer months in my opinion. Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!

Step one – Base: I primed my skin using the L’oreal infallible primer (£7.99). You’ve probably seen me raving about this primer quite a lot on my blog. I then applied a little Rimmel wake me up concealer under my eyes (£5.49) using the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush. I then chose to use the LA Girl pro coverage foundation in the shade Fair (£8.99).

Step two – Eyes: I first did my eyebrows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade in dark brown (£15). I used the Morphe s25. Then I went into the NYX s144 Beauty School Dropout palette. This look is really simple!! First I took the pale orange tint shade labelled 1 on a Morphe s27 brush and brushed it all over my lid. Next using the same brush I applied the shade labelled 2 in my crease, bringing it down to the outer v of my eye. This shade is a lovely rusty orange colour. Then using a Morphe s20 brush, I took the shimmer shade labelled 3 and packed it onto my lid. Finally, using the tip of the same brush I took the shade labelled 4 and put it on my lower lash line. Once all the eyeshadow was applied I went in with my Rimmel liquid eyeliner (£5.29) and created a small wing. I used the Rimmel Nude scandal’eyes kohl liner (£3.99) in my water line. I chose not to wear false eyelashes and instead applied the Maybelline Lash sensational mascara (£7.99) on my top and bottom lashes.

Step three – Finishing: I used the Collection lasting perfection concealer (£4.19) in fair to brighten under my eyes. I blended this in using the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush. I then set the concealed area using the Rimmel stay matte powder (£3.99) in peach glow. I did this using the Morphe s12 brush. I then took the contour shade 5 on a Morphe s13 brush and used it to contour my face and nose. I used the Max Factor creme puff blusher (£8.99) in the shade lovely pink on a Real Techniques blush brush on the apples of my cheeks. I used the L’oreal true match liquid illuminator (£6.99) in icy glow. I applied this using my finger. I used the gold highlighter shade in the NYX palette on the inner corner of my eye and on my brow bone using the s20 Morphe pencil brush.
For my lips I used the Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick (£17) in the shade Lolita.

Here’s the finished look:
