I thought I’d share with you my favourite Barry M nail polish’s today because I’ve never made a nail polish post!!! I’m not a massive nail polish wearer, because I feel that wearing it too often isn’t good for your nails and for me, I’m scared it will make them brittle. However, sometimes, when I’m going out, I like to paint my nails.
I pretty much always gravitate towards Barry M when I’m looking for a new nail polish, since one of my close friends recommended them to me. Honestly now it’s got to the point that I don’t buy anything else!! They don’t chip easily and there is such a nice variety so I can always find what I want.
These are my top 4!
Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla
Molten Metal Nail Paint in Copper Mine
Frosted Cupcakes Nail Paint in Earl Grey
Frosted Cupcakes Nail Paint in Strawberries & Cream
Vanilla is my long time favourite and I think it has featured in one of my monthly faves in the past. I love the matte finish and it dries VERY fast so it’s super easy to use. The shade is a very light dusty lilac colour and looks beautiful with everything.
Copper Mine is a very unique colour. The Molten Metal range has some beautiful shades and I will definitely try some of the others some time soon. The colour is quite orange toned and has tiny flecks of silver and copper glitter in it. The flecks are so small that you can’t feel them when you run your finger over the polish. I think I will wear this a lot in the Summer months.
Earl Grey and Strawberries & Cream are both from the new Frosted Cupcakes range. These two need a couple of layers to get enough colour pay off. For me this is great as it makes the finished nails looks much neater as if you accidentally get some on your skin, the colour doesn’t show as it’s only one coat. I use 2 or 3 coats. These also have little flecks of glitter in, but they are different to the Molten Metal. These flecks are duller white in colour and look gorgeous. These would be perfect for a wedding in my opinion.
