Hi everyone, how quick did February go? I know everyone has been saying the same thing but wow… I feel like I only did my January favourites yesterday. Despite the speed of the month, I have been loving a few different products this month which I want to share with you!
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation
Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation is an old favourite of mine. I absolutely adore this stuff and if I could only wear one foundation for the rest of my life, this would definitely be it. The coverage is super high and it gives a flawless finish. The finish is semi matte so it’s really good for all skin types. Recently I’ve been using this foundation a lot more, rather than saving it for special occasions because I’ve had a bottle with a little bit in for ages and I decided I needed to use it up before it went off.. I’ve got a new bottle waiting to go! When I wear this, I feel like I can defeat the world.
L’oreal Detox clay mask
A lot of people have been raving about this clay mask and I am one of them. I really love the feel of my face after I use it. It feels so soft and bright. I feel like I am doing something good for my skin every time I use this. If you want to see my full review of this, you can do so here.
Kat Von D Everlasting liquid lipstick – Lolita
KVD’s ‘Lolita’ is an old cult fave but I’ve only recently joined this bandwagon. Needless to say, I am hooked! As you can see, it is a deep red/brown nude type of colour and looks so beautiful on all skin types. The everlasting liquid lipsticks are really great quality, so you really are getting what you pay for at £17 each! They are slightly drying but this is to be expected. Despite this, they don’t go into the fine lines on your lips too much. I’ve been wearing this a lot this month.
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara
I actually forgot to take a picture of this (sorry) and now it’s too dark… but anyway. I really have been living for this mascara lately. I’m not a huge mascara girl, as long as my lashes look decent I’m happy enough. I have been wearing this one pretty much all month though since it gives me good length and volume in one product. It’s amazing for the drugstore!
Lush Breath of fresh air toner
This is quite a new buy of me, as you may know if you read my recent Shopping haul. I have been really loving it! It feels so refreshing on the skin. I spritz twice on my hands and then pat it onto my face. The spray is a little too forceful to spray straight onto the face for me, I get anxiety waiting for it it hit! It’s not a problem though. It smells very fresh, like the ‘sea breeze’ and seems to be working well as a toner. I really recommend it.
Victoria’s Secret ‘Secret Escape’ body mist
I originally went to buy the Pure Seduction body mist as it seems to be a popular one but when I smelt it, I felt it was a little too sweet for me personally and would lead to headaches.. When I smelt Secret Escape I must preferred it! With notes of freesia and guava flowers it is still sweet in ways but is more floral and ‘perfumy’ if that makes sense. I have been loving having this in my handbag and spraying it throughout the day. The scent doesn’t last super long but it lasts a lot longer than the majority of body mists.
That’s it for my favourites post this month, have you tried any of these? What do you think of them?
