Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette review + swatches

Hi guys!

So, I know I said I was on a no buy – but before I decided to put myself on this I bought the Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette. I thought this would be absolutely ideal for travelling and for £6.99 for three different products, I just couldn’t say no to testing it out!

I purchased the shade Golden Bronze. As you can see in this palette there is a highlight, a contour and a blush.

Highlight
The highlight is probably my favourite in the palette. It is quite a subtle ‘glow from within’ type of glow and it doesn’t have a lot of glitters like some highlights tend to. It is not subtle in the sense you can apply it all over the face though, so be careful!
The one I have is quite a pale yellowy gold shade in the pan and it applies like a golden tint sheen. I use a small fluffy brush to apply.

Contour
I really like the shade of contour because it is a little warmer than some of my other contour/bronzers. This will be perfect for when I am a little more tanned (hopefully on holiday when I take it travelling). This contour is best to apply a little at a time because it doesn’t blend so easily and if you apply too much you can end up looking like a dirty mess! But if you take your time with it, it can really deepen up your face and add some extra colour to it.

Blush
For me, this was the most disappointing product out of the three. It might work well if you like a shimmery blush but I much prefer a matte one. In the pan the blush looks as though it has a few golden shimmers, which I could deal with, but when you apply to the face those golden shimmers create quite an intense golden sheen over the pink blush. It kind of looks more like a coloured highlighter on the face. Some people may like this depending on their preference though.

What do you think of this? Have you tried it? Let me know!
