If you know me personally, you’ll know that I don’t often wear a no makeup makeup look.. If I’m making the effort to do my makeup then I usually just do a full face. However, with the early mornings and library sessions lately I thought I’d try a minimal makeup look out. I ended up really liking the outcome so I wanted to share it with you all here!
If you want to find out what I used for this look, just keep reading!
First I used the L’oreal infallible primer (£7.99) as a base to fill in my pores a bit and prep my face! Then I went in with my Max Factor facefinity 3 in 1 foundation (£12.99). I used a flat foundation brush. I only applied a thin layer of this, just to cover any redness etc!
Next I applied Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer (£5.49) under my eyes and on any blemishes. I used the real techniques pointed foundation brush to apply this. I set the concealed area with Rimmel Stay Matte powder (£3.99) with a morphe s15 brush.
For my brows I used the Anastasia dipbrow pomade (£15) on a EcoTools eyeliner angled brush.
I then applied a nude eyeshadow all over my lid just to stop any creasing. I used the soft brown toned nude shade (on a EcoTools shade brush) from the w7 The Nudes palette (£5.95). I skipped the liner and went straight into the mascara. I used the L’oreal Miss Manga mega volume mascara (£7.99).
I applied a little of the contour shade from the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting palette (£6.99). I used the morphe s13 brush for this.
To finish I used the Basic Bitch lipstick in the shade Peach Perfect (£18).
What do you think? I think I’m going to do this look more often!
