Top 5 drugstore products

Hi everyone,
For today’s post I wanted to share with you my top picks from the drugstore. I really love browsing the drugstore for new products which won’t break the bank. It’s been fairly difficult to choose just five but I’ve finally narrowed it down to five things I find myself reaching for very often.
I will be doing a top five high end products post sometime soon so make sure you keep an eye out for that.

L’oreal Lipstick (Gold Obsession in Plum Gold) – £6.99

lipstick-stick

This lipstick was HYPED last Autumn and obviously I gave into that hype and purchased this beauty. It is super creamy and feels moisturising on the lips – not drying at all! The gold flecks are stunning and make the lipstick shimmery and different to others. This ‘fave’ is not just the particular shade but the whole of L’oreal lipsticks. They are really great an I recommend trying them.

Max Factor Facefinity all day flawless 3 in 1 foundation – £12.99

Although this is at the pricier end of drugstore foundations, I really think it’s worth it and it mt favourite one from the drugstore at the moment. The finish is matte and the coverage is medium to full. It’s also buildable. I don’t need to set this with a powder either. I don’t understand why this product isn’t hyped more? It is a foundation primarily but also includes a primer and concealer in there too! (I use the shade Warm Almond).

Rimmel waterproof liquid eyeliner  – £5.29

Rimmel liquid liner

If you’re looking for a super black, long lasting, non crumbly liquid eyeliner then look no further!!! I haven’t tried anything better than this, and for the price? I’m blown away. I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving this. The applicator is easy enough to use with a little practice. You can get this waterproof or non waterproof.

Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer – £5.49

Concealers can be amazing at the drugstore and this Rimmel one is definitely one of my favourites. It’s very creamy and blendable. It works perfect for under eyes or blemishes. I also really love to wear this is I am wearing no other makeup just to brighten my face up a little. It really does wake me up. The tube also lasts forever – I’ve literally had one in back up for so long because I thought my current one was running out a long time ago but it still just keeps on giving.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blusher (Lovely Pink) – £8.99

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush

I don’t usually go for a heavy blusher, so, with that in mind, this one from Max Factor is perfect. It is a little shimmery, but since the colour is rather light that doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t think this particular shade would work on darker skin tones but on someone as pale as me, it looks gorgeous! I really want to try some of the other colours from this range. If you like a deeper blush, this could work really well as a blush topper for you.
