Makeup look using the MAC Amber Times Nine palette

Hi everyone, recently I’ve been playing around with the MAC Amber Times Nine palette quite a bit and I created a look with it which I love a lot. I wanted to share it with you. Let me know if you want a full review on this palette as I’d be more than happy to do that for you.

Step one – Base: First I used the L’oreal Infallible primer (£7.99) to prep my face. Then I went straight in with my foundation. I decided to use a mix of LA Girl Pro Coverage foundation in fair (£11) and L’oreal true match in Ivory (£9.99). These foundations mix really well and the LA girl is a little too dark and the L’oreal is slightly too light so together they make my perfect shade. I applied this with a flat foundation brush as always.

Step two – Eyes: I first did my eyebrows using the Anastasia dipbrow pomade (£15) in medium brown. I used the morphe s25 for this. Then I went into the MAC Amber Times Nine palette (£25). After prepping my lid with a concealer, I used a morphe s27 brush with the shade labelled 1 and applied all over my lid. Next with the same brush I used the taupe shade labelled 2 in my crease to create a bit of depth – I applied this roughly not needing to be to precise. Next, again with the same brush, I applied the shade labelled 3 in my crease and brought it down into the outer V of my eye. Then with a morphe s12 brush I placed the deep shade labelled 4 precisely in my outer V. Finally I took the pink champagne shimmer shade labelled 5 on a morphe s30 and packed it onto the lid (you may need a little fix plus for the shimmer shade). Once all the shadows were beautifully blended I used my Rimmel waterproof liquid liner (£5.49) to create a small wing. I applied the Eyeronic flase lashes in the style Jasmine (£9.50) and added some L’oreal false lash flutter (£10.99) on my bottom lashes.

Step three – Finishing: I used my MAC Pro Longwear concealer (£18) under my eyes to highlight and conceal. I have recently fallen back in love with this concealer because it just doesn’t crease up under my eyes half as much as my other concealers! I have the shade NW15. I used a morphe s4 for this. I set my concealer used the Rimmel stay matte pressed powder (£3.99) in the shade peach glow. I used a morphe s15 for this. Next I used the contour shade in the Rimmel kate moss sculpting palette (£6.99) on a morphe s13 to define my face and bring a bit of colour into it. Next with a real techniques blush brush I added a little of the Milani baked blush in Luminoso (£9.10 on Amazon in the UK). Then I went back into the sculpting palette and used the gold highlight on a morphe s26. I applied this on my cheek bones, brow bone, cupids bow and inner corner of my eye. Lastly I added Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in the shade Lolita (£17)

Here is the finished look:
