Makeup look using the Zoeva Cocoa Blend eyeshadow palette – Spotlight eye look

Hi everyone,
Since my boyfriend bought me the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette I’ve been absolutely loving it! Of course, the gorgeous pink shade called ‘Warm Notes’ caught my eye immediately so I decided to create a really pretty spotlight look using it which I hope you’ll love.

Step 1 – Base: After moisturising, I used the L’oreal Infallible primer (£7.99) to prep my face. After this, using a flat foundation brush I used the Collection lasting perfection foundation in porcelain (£5.99) mixed with a little L’oreal True Match foundation in Ivory to lighten it (£9.99). The Collection foundation is a little dark, despite it’s name…

Step 2 – Eyes: I first did my eyebrows using the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in medium brown (£15). I used the Eco Tools eyeliner brush for this. Next I went into the Zoeva palette (£18). I used the Morphe s27 brush and put the first, cream shade called Bitter Start, all over my lid. Then with the same brush I took a tiny amount of Substitute for Love, which is the second shade on the bottom row, and blended it into my crease to add a little depth. With a Morphe s12 I went into the pink shimmer shade and put it on the outer and inner sections of my lid, leaving the middle section free. I brought the pink up into my crease a little too. Then I used a Morphe s30 and packed on a mix of the first two shades on the top row, Bitter Start and Sweeter End. Once the eyeshadow was done I used Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£7.99) followed by Merida lashes by Eyeronic Lashes (£9.50) – Please check this lashes out they’re amazing and last so long – you can have a look here.

Step 3 – Finishing: I used the Mac Pro Longwear concealer in the shade NW15 (£18) under my eyes to highlight and conceal. I used the Morphe s4 brush for this. Then I set my entire face with Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Peach Glow (£3.99) with a Morphe s15. I then went into the Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette and took the contour shade on a Morphe s13 and carved out my cheeks and added a bit of colour around my forehead. I also used this to contour my nose used a Lottie London blending brush, which is the perfect brush for nose contouring! I used the Max Factor Crème Puff blusher in Lovely Pink (£8.99) on a Real Techniques blusher brush. Next I took a Morphe s26 and applied the Laura Geller baked gelato swirl illuminator in Charming Pink (£21) on the tops of my cheek bones, on the bridge of my nose, on my cupids bow, on my brow bone and in my inner corner. Finally, sticking with the pink theme I applied Mac Pink Plaid matte lipstick (£16.50) with a little Natural Collection clear vanilla lipgloss (£1.99) over the top.

Here’s the finished look:
