Empties 2

Hi guys,

It’s that time again when we go through all the rubbish I’ve saved up over the past (two?) months.. Why are these kind of posts so much fun?

Before we get started I just want to let you know that I’ve changed my plan on WordPress so you might start seeing a few changes around here. Firstly, you can now find my blog at jazminheavenblog.com. I’m so happy that my blog is growing and wanted to take the step to make my website more professional and tailored to my own preferences. Thankyou to everyone who reads my blog and leaves kind words, I always appreciate your support!

Okay, so let’s get into the empties!!

Nivea Micellar Water x2
I use this product every day so it’s no wonder I’ve been through two bottles of this and already well on my way into the third. Nivea is my micellar water of choice as it always removes any left over makeup from my face and feels cool and refreshing. I don’t see myself switching this out any time soon.
Repurchase? Already have and will again.

Nivea Soft Moisturiser
If you’ve been reading my posts for a while now you’ll know my love for this moisturiser. It’s simple and makes my skin feel hydrated and smooth. It also creates a great base when applying makeup too.
Repurchase? Already have.

Superdrug’s gentle creamy cleanser
This is my go to cream cleanser. It’s super affordable and very effective. Since using this (and a few other products) my skin has looked so much better. I use it twice a day.
Repurchase? Already have.

Superdrug’s foaming facial wash
Again, I use this daily and love what it has been doing to my skin. I always use the foam wash first and then the cream cleanser (mentioned above).
Repurchase? Already have.

Johnson’s Makeup be gone wipes x2
I think I went through three packs of these but accidentally threw one away.. oops! However, these wipes are perfectly saturated in liquid and remove makeup easily without tugging at the skin! I use these to remove the majority of my makeup and then go in with the Nivea Micellar Water to remove any excess. At £3 a pack they come in at a little more expensive than most drugstore wipes, but I can usually get them on 2 for 1.
Repurchase? Always

Collection lasting perfection concealer
This concealer is hyped up a lot and for good reason. It’s super creamy and blendable and the coverage is perfect. I am almost finished on a second tube of this but since it’s only £4.19, I don’t mind.
Repurchase? Already have.

L’oreal True Match foundation
I really enjoyed this using foundation, it sat nicely on my dry skin. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have oily skin though. Since the shade Ivory is a little pale for me, I like to mix it with other foundations such as Collection lasting perfection and LA Girl. The coverage is medium to full.
Repurchase? Yes.

L’oreal Volume Million Lashes fatale
I really loved this mascara whilst I was using it but it dried up pretty quickly which is such a shame. It did give my lashes great volume and pretty decent length too and it is one of the best I’ve tried from the drugstore so definitely worth the try.
Repurchase? Maybe eventually, but I’m happy with my Maybelline mascara at the minute.

Bristows Ultra Hold hairspray
I love this hairspray as it holds my hair in place but can easily be brushed out without totally ruining my hair! It’s a basic cheapish one because I don’t want to spend too much on a hairspray as I don’t use them all that often. It holds well and feels nice, win win.
Repurchase? Yes.

Elvive fibrology shampoo and conditioner
I really enjoyed this thickening shampoo and conditioner for a long time, it washed my hair well and did add a minimal amount of thickness. However, I feel that my hair has gotten used to this now and it just isn’t cleaning it the same anymore.
Repurchase? Not at the minute

Dove ‘go fresh’ deodorant
This deodorant smells lovely and does a decent job. I liked it whilst using it and may pick it up again if its on offer and I need to grab a spray deodorant. However, I’ve started using roll-ons.
Repurchase? Possibly in the future.

Lacura cotton pads
These were super cheap from Aldi and I’m usually not fussy with what brand of cotton pads I use, I just pick them up when I need them. These were very good as they didn’t fleece up.
Repurchase? Probably

Primark cotton pads
At 50p the Primark cotton pads and some of the cheapest and I know a lot of people love them. At first I wasn’t too keen on these as they feel thinner than most I’ve had before. However, after using them for a little while I was pleased to find out this didn’t affect how they worked.
Repurchase? Probably.

Original Source lemon and tee tree shower gel
I have spoken about Original Source a few times on my blog because I love that they are 100% natural and smell a-maz-ing! They don’t lather up as well as some other body washes but they do just as good a job at cleaning the skin.
Repurchase? Yes

Zoella Gingerbread shower glaze
This was part of the Zoella Beauty christmas range but I’ve only just finished it up. This really made my skin feel sooo soft and I’m kind of sad I can’t get it again. The smell sometimes made me feel a little sickly in all honesty but the feel of my skin after using it really made up for it.
Repurchase? Sadly I can’t

Soap & Glory scrub em and leave em Body Buff
I did enjoy using this and really love the traditional soap and glory scent. This would probably be my go to scrub if it wasn’t for my love of The Body Shop scrubs. I would recommend this one though and it did leave my legs feeling smooth.
Repurchase? Maybe

That’s everything! I really hope you’ve enjoyed my second ever empties post. Feel free to leave a comment below.

I’m the same with the Zoella stuff. I’ll use it occasionally but it does get a bit too much if used all the time!
