Summer makeup look featuring Zoeva and Lime Crime

Hi everyone, It’s been super hot in the UK the past week which I have been absolutely loving!!! Summer is well and truly here so I thought it was about time I got my ‘Summer makeup look’ up on my blog.
I hope you enjoy!

Step one – Base: Of course, I first applied my L’oreal Infallible primer (£7.99) to prep my skin. Once this was done I used a flat foundation brush and applied the Dior Forever foundation (£35) and mixed in a small amount of the L’oreal True Match (£9.99) to lighten the colour a bit.

Step two – Eyes: If you’ve read any of my makeup look posts before, you’ll know the drill! I did my eyebrows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (£15) in medium brown. I used the Morphe s25 for this. The eyeshadow look I created for this summer look is actually super simple! I took the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette (£18) and reached for the first shade in the palette, Bitter Start. I applied this all over my lid using the Morphe s27 brush to create a nice base. I then took the second shade on the second row, Substitute For Love, on the same brush and brushed it lightly on my crease to deepen the eye. Then I went in with Pure Ganache on the Morphe s12. I applied it to the outer and inner portions of my eye lid, leaving the middle section clear. Once I was happy with the shadow, I added a small wing using the Rimmel Exaggerate waterproof liquid eyeliner (£5.29). I then used the Maybelline Great Lash mascara (£4.99), before applying my false lashes which are Eyeronic Lashes in the style Merida (£9.50).

Step three – Finishing: I used Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (£5.49) under my eyes and on any blemishes. I used the Real Techniques flat foundation brush for this. I applied Rimmel Stay Matte powder in the shade peach glow (£3.99) all over my face using the Morphe s15 brush. I usually don’t put powder all over my face but the Dior foundation is pretty dewy and I wanted my makeup to last. I then used L’oreal Glam Bronze in Blonde Harmony (£10.99), I applied it to the top of my forehead and in the hollows of my cheeks to contour, I did this using the Morphe s13. I took the Morphe s11 and applied the highlight shade from the same Glam Bronze duo to my brow bone. Next I went into the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting palette (£6.99) and applied the blush to the rounds of my cheeks, bringing it up just above my contour too. I did this using the Real Techniques contour brush. Then I took the Morphe s26 and added the highlight shade from the same palette to the high points of my cheek bones, my inner corner and the bridge of my nose. Finally I applied my new Lime Crime Velvetines liquid lipstick in the shade Bleached.

Here’s the finished look:
