Girly pink makeup look inspired by Bailey Sarian

Hi guys,
I recently watched Bailey Sarian’s ‘Pretty in pink’ youtube video and absolutely fell in love with the pretty Barbie vibes makeup look. I really wanted to give the idea a go myself because the outcome was stunning and steps seemed really simple. If you want to see Bailey’s tutorial, check it out here. If you want to see how I created my attempt.. keep on reading!

Step one – Base:
I first took my L’oreal infallible primer (£7.99) and applied all over my face for a smooth base. After this, I applied the Max Factor Facefinity 3 in 1 foundation (£12.99) with a flat foundation brush. I smoothed out the foundation with a beauty blender type sponge which I purchased from Primark.

NYX

I’m sorry for my messy palette…

Step two – Eyes:
Firstly, I did my eyebrows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (£15) in medium brown. I used a Morphe s25 for this.
Next I applied the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer  (£5.49) all over my eyelid as a base. I set this using a very pale shadow from the NYX Beauty School Dropout, back to basics palette (£30). I then went in with the pastel bubblegum pink blush (top right in the picture). You can use any pink blush/shadow. I took a Morphe s27 brush and started to apply the blush in my crease right under the start of my eyebrow, the way Bailey does in her video. I kept the colour vibrant in this area and also faded it out into the rest of my crease. I made sure it was super blended out as it worked towards the outer portion of my crease. Once I was happy with this, I took a tiny bit of concealer and cleaned up my lid.
Next I took the Rimmel Exaggerate liquid liner (£5.29) and created a wing. I then used the L’oreal miss baby roll mascara (£7.99) to both my upper and lower lashes. If you’ve read my review of this mascara then you’ll know it really isn’t my favourite.. but I’ve bought it and I’m gonna use it up some way so I choose to use it for this look!

Step three – Finishing:
I used the Bourjois radiance reveal concealer(£7.99) under my eyes, on the centre of my forehead, down my nose and on my chin. I blended it out with the Real Techniques flat foundation brush. I set this using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder (£3.99) on the Real Techniques contour brush.
I then used the L’oreal glam bronze duo bronzer in blonde harmony (£10.99) on a Morphe s13 brush. I used this to roughly contour and bronze up the outer edges of my forehead. I used the same blush I used as eye shadow on the Real Techniques contour brush. I only applied a small amount of this so the pink isn’t too overpowering. I next took a Morphe s26 and highlighted my cheek bones, brow bone and cupids bow using the pink highlighter in the NYX palette.
Finally, I applied Lime Crime Velevetines liquid lipstick in the colour Cupid (£15) and added a small amount of Mac’s Honeylove matte lipstick  (£16.50) on the centre of my lips to make the pink a little more nude toned.

What do you think of the finished look?
