Sephora Pomegranate anti-fatigue & energizing mask AND Sephora Pearl perfecting & brightening eye mask REVIEW

Hi everyone!
Whilst in Poland I finally experienced my first Sephora visit which was so exciting! I picked up these two masks, the pomegranate anti-fatigue & energizing face sheet mask and the pearl perfecting & brightening eye mask. I chose these two as my skin needed a boost after the busy days and early mornings whilst being away. My skin felt dull and tired and my eye bags were getting pretty extreme. Now I’ve used them both I thought I’d write up a little review of them for you.

Sephora masks are pretty hyped up. I’ve seen a lot of people talking about them, particularly the Pomegranate face mask. I got these for 19 Zloty each, which is £3.97 in GBP and $5.12 in USD. They aren’t too overpriced yet there are also cheaper options on the market. Each of these masks come with one use.

Pomegranate anti-fatigue & energizing face mask
Claims: Awakens, energizes, and tones the skin for a fresh appearance. No parabens and not tested on animals.
Review: The sheet mask was very saturated in the serum which is definitely a great thing as all the goodness soaks into the skin. Often with sheet masks I’ve used in the mask there has been left over serum in the package after removing the mask, however, this wasn’t really the case with this one which is only slightly disappointing since the mask itself was so wet. Also, the smell was fresh, natural and lovely.
The mask was fairly easy to apply, I peeled off the back and easily applied it to my face. The shape was quite good, of course it was a little big but it covered all my face and I was able to arrange the holes over my eyes and mouth without too much difficulty. It stayed on my face and didn’t slip down.
I left the mask on for around 20 minutes, which is only 5 minutes longer than the suggested 15. I peeled it off easily and massaged the residue left on my face into the skin, including my neck.
My face appeared fresher and I did look very awake immediately after use which I was really happy with. The skin felt moisturiser and smooth and overall I was very satisfied with the product.
Since I used this mask (2 days ago) I feel that my skin has been energized and I would purchase the mask again if I get to go to Sephora in the future.

Pearl perfecting & brightening eye mask
Claims: Evens out eye contour skin, minimise irregularities, illuminates the skin. Fresh and radiant.
Review: The first thing I noticed about this was the smell, which I really didn’t like.. luckily the mask doesn’t go near your nose. The little eye patches are slightly fiddly to get out of the packet and apply to your face, but once you have done this they stay put and don’t slip down your face.
Once they were on, they caused my eyes to water a little which is a shame as I wanted to relax while they were on so the discomfort wasn’t welcomed. I left them on for about 20 minutes, as with the face mask spoke about above.
When I took them off the skin under my eyes did look a little brighter and fresher which is nice. The skin appeared smoother. However, the effects of the mask didn’t last too long which is a shame.
I would maybe purchase again if I got the chance to use in the morning if I had something special to do that day. But other than that, I would probably skip on these.

Thanks for stopping by!

Jazmin xx

Aw they’re definitely worth a try, they’re relaxing to use! Check out the Tony Moly ones, they are great. Garnier moisture bomb is also a great one you can easily pick up 🙂 x
