Empties #3

Hi guys,

I’m finally getting round to writing up my third ever empties post – yay! Finishing a product is actually one of the most satisfying things, so a post full of them feels like a massive accomplishment. I’ve got TWENTY different things in the post! I hope you enjoy.

Empties 3

Systeme Styling Mousse
I’ve had this for quite a while and rarely used it. It’s technically not empty but it’s out of date so it’s going in the bin. It was an okay mousse, so if you’re into this formula then it may be a good, affordable, one to try out.
Repurchase? No.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
Most people have tried Batiste dry shampoo at some point. In my opinion it’s okay and refreshes hair for a while, but the refreshed feeling only lasts a few hours. I use it for nipping out, but I can’t rely on it.
Repurchase? Probably.

Sure Bright Bouquet deodorant
I find this spray a good go to deodorant. The smell is light, floral and fruity. It’s great for sticking in your bag when you’re going to the gym. It also lasts a long time.
Repurchase? Yes

Radox Feel Uplifted shower gel
I picked this up when it was on offer in Tesco. At first, I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent but after sticking with it, I ended up really loving it. It’s nice a refreshing and has been perfect for the hot weather. It lathered up well and left me feeling clean.
Repurchase? At some point maybe

Empties 5

Nivea Micellar Water
Will I ever have an empties post without multiple bottles of this stuff? Probably not. I love it for getting off any excess makeup left on my face.
Repurchase? Already have!

Nivea Soft Moisturiser
Again, another favourite of mine that I will always use! I’ve bought a bigger tub of this now as I was going through the tubes like crazy.
Repurchase? Always.

Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone wipes
These are the only makeup wipes I use because they don’t feel harsh on the skin and take off a lot of makeup. These wipes are always the first step in my skin care routine if I’ve been wearing makeup that day.
Repurchase? Yes.

Empties 2

Rimmel Stay Matte powder
This pressed powder is really great because it’s so affordable and sets my under eyes really well. As you can see, the powder isn’t completely empty but the plastic lid cracked while I was moving all my makeup out of uni so I thought I’d just grab a new one considering it’s less than ยฃ4.
Repurchase? Already have.

L’oreal Infallible primer
If you’ve read any of my makeup look posts, you’ll know that this is pretty much the only primer I use. It’s a great silicone drugstore primer which helps my makeup last longer and smooths my skin out a little too. I do love this primer and have already got another one on the go, but I think I might try something new next time around.
Repurchase? Maybe.

Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara
The mascara is hugely hyped up and for good reason! It’s a brilliant mascara that gives me volume and length. It’s definitely one of the best from the drugstore in my opinion. It’s also one of Zoella’s favourites, so you can’t really go wrong, can you?
Repurchase? Probably, when I’ve got through some of my other mascaras..

Eyeronic Lashes – Jasmine
Eyeronic Lashes are pretty much the only brand of lashes I use these days.. They last about 20 – 25 times (And they actually do!) and only cost around ยฃ10. These ones in the style Jasmine are actually one of my all time favourites.
Repurchase? Yes.

Empties 4

Superdrug Foaming Facial Wash
This and the creamy cleanser have been staples in my skin care regime for a while now. I love how gentle they are on my sometimes sensitive skin and how clean my face feels afterwards. The price point is also a bonus. I’ve almost finished another one of these which I already have on the go.. after I’ve used that though, I’m thinking of switching it up.
Repurchase? Not at the moment.

Superdrug Creamy Cleanser
Again, as above, the cleanser is a really good product, specially if you have dry and sensitive skin.
Repurchase? Not at the moment.

Cien Makeup Pads
I’ll buy these makeup pads from anywhere really and give them a go. I think these were from Lidl? Or Aldi? They were good ones because they were thick and didn’t leave any cotton wool bits on my face.
Repurchase? Probably.

Sephora Pomegranate face mask (REVIEW)
I recently reviewed this mask if you want to check out something a bit longer on this one, but all in all this was a great mask that put some life back into my tired skin!
Repurchase? If I ever get to go to Sephora again.

Sephora Pearl eye mask (REVIEW)
Again, you can check out a review on this one if you want too. It wasn’t the best eye mask, but it did brighten the area temporarily.
Repurchase? Probably not.

Empties 1

Zoella Gingerbread Village candle
Unsure if people usually include candles in their empties.. but I just had too! I loved this candle from the Zoella Beauty Christmas range. I found it half empty in a box not long ago and didn’t mind smelling gingerbread in Spring!
Repurchase? If I could.

Zoella Ginger Cream
And we’re sticking with the Gingerbread Christmas theme this July.. The body lotion smells absolutely devine and it really lingered on the skin for ages. The lotion was moisturising, leaving my skin soft. However, it was a bit of work to massage into the skin as the cream went streaky white and wouldn’t sink in fast enough. Super annoying.
Repurchase? I can’t anyway, but probably wouldn’t

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter
I’ve had this little tub lying around for ages and I’ve finally got round to finishing it up! I enjoy the scent and the thickness of this butter, it feels luxurious on the skin and gives me that smooth feeling.
Repurchase? Maybe.

Vaseline lip balm
I’ve used this up quickly because it’s so handy to throw in my bag or have next to bed to put on at night. Stick form lip balms are my favourite for ease. Even though I have other balms which are much more moisturising, this one did the job and was just easy. I’m actually going to be a little lost now I’ve finished this up.
Repurchase? Yes.

That’s it! Wow, that took so long. Let me know any thoughts in the comments below.
