A simple everyday makeup look!

Hi everyone,

It’s been a VERY long time since I posted my ‘everyday’ makeup look and of course, since then my routine has changed! So I thought it was about time I posted an updated version. Hope you enjoy and feel free to leave any comments below.

Step one – Base:
Usually, I skip primer and use the Nivea Soft Moisturiser in it’s place as my skin is dry and I’ve found this is better for me. This is exactly what I did in the look I am wearing in the picture. Once I’d given this a little time to soak in, I applied the Dior Forever Foundation (£35) with a little L’oreal True Match foundation (£9.99). I buffed this out using the Real Techniques buffer brush.

Step two – Eyes:
I took my Anastasia dipbrow pomade (£15) and applied my brows using a Morphe angled brush and spoolie. I set them using the Rimmel brow this way brow gel (£4.49). Next I applied the Collection lasting perfection concealer (£4.19) on my eyelid and blended it out using a Real Techniques small pointed foundation brush. I then went into the Morphe Bronzed Mocha eyeshadow palette (£19) and set the lids with the shade labelled 1A – I used a Morphe s27 brush. Then, using the same brush, I buffed the shade labelled 1D roughly into the crease. I then added the shade labelled 2E more precisely into the crease using a Morphe s12 brush. I added a little of this colour onto my lower lash line too.
After curling my lashes I applied Maybelline lash sensational mascara (£8.99).

Step three – Finishing:
I applied Collection lasting perfection concealer (£4.19) under my eyes, down the centre of my nose and onto the centre of my forehead to highlight. I blended this out using a Real Techniques small pointed foundation brush. I didn’t choose to set this as my skin is super dry at the moment and this concealer doesn’t tend to need setting on me.
Next I added bronzer using a Morphe s13 brush, I chose the L’oreal blonde harmony bronze duo (£10.99). Then I applied Rimmel lasting finish blush in the shade Santa Rose (£3.99) with a Real Techniques contour brush. Finally I added Laura Geller baked gelato swirl illuminator in the shade Charming Pink (£21) onto the high points of my cheek bones and on the bridge of my nose.
I skipped the lipstick and just wore a transparent balm, but a nude would look lovely with this look.

Every day makeup

I hope you enjoyed this post! xx
