Autumn makeup look using the Cocoa Blend palette by Zoeva

Hi everyone!

It’s finally time to bring out the autumn makeup looks and I am super excited! In the warmer months, I am not one to go for a deeper toned smokey eye, however when autumn rolls around I like to vamp up my makeup. I wanted to create a wearable look for the season using just one eye shadow palette for you all! I really hope you enjoy the look. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Step one – Base: After thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating, I prepped my skin using the Nivea Soft moisturizer. Once this had soaked in I applied the Dior forever foundation (£35) using a real techniques buffer brush.

Step two – Eyes: As always, I used the Anastasia dipbrow pomade (£15) in the shade medium brown to do my eyebrows, for this I used a Morphe angled brush and spoolie. I then set the brows using Rimmel brow this way brow gel (£4.49). Next I applied Collection lasting perfection concealer (£4.19) all over my eyelid and blended it out using a real techniques flat pointed foundation brush. I then went into the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette (£18). I first took the cream shade ‘Bitter Start’ on a Morphe s27 brush and applied it all over the lid. Next, on the same brush I applied the light brown/tan colour ‘Substitute For Love’ roughly in my crease as a transition shade. Once this was blended out evenly I applied the very dark brown shade, ‘Beans Are White’ on the outer and inner portions of my eye using a Morphe s12 brush. I added this bit by bit and took my time being precise as I didn’t want this dark shade to blend out too far. Once I was happy with this, I applied the bronze shimmer shade ‘Subtle Blend’ with my finger in the centre of my lid, to create a spotlight effect. I added a little of the gold shimmer, ‘Pure Ganache’ on top of that to brighten the shimmer a little. Next I applied the Liquid eyeliner from Asda George and created a small wing. I added Maybelline Great Lash mascara (£5.99). I applied the Eyeronic Lashes in the style Merida (£9.50).

Step three – Finishing: I applied the Collection lasting perfection concealer (£4.19) under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, on the centre of my forehead and a little on my chin. I blended this out using the real techniques small foundation brush. I set my face using the Rimmel stay matte powder (£3.99) in the shade peach glow. I next used the contour shade from the Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette (£6.99) on a Morphe s13 brush to carve out my cheek bones. I also applied a little on my temples and around my hair line on my forehead. Then, using a real techniques contour brush, I applied Rimmel Lasting Finish blush (£3.99) in the shade Santa Rose. I highlighted my cheek bones, cupids bow and inner corner using the highlight powder from the Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette, I used a fluffy brush for this.
I chose Mac lipstick in the shade HoneyLove (£16.50).

Autumn Makeup

That’s the finished look! I absolutely love this look for autumn and will definitely be wearing it again soon.
