September has been a crazy busy month for me this year and I have no idea where the time has gone!! With moving back to Liverpool and starting my final year at Uni I haven’t had much time to myself. So although I haven’t tried MANY new products this month, I do have some favourites that I want to share with you. Happy October everyone!
Barry M Molten Metal nail polish ‘Copper Mine’
As you may know, I don’t own too many nail polish’s as I rarely wear it. However this September I dug this beauty out of my bag. It’s such a stunning Autumnal colour and I have been wearing it on my nails a lot this month. It is a reddish copper with golden flecks in it and in the light it shines so nicely. It’s also very affordable so I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a polish to compliment the season.
I Heart Makeup ‘Goddess of Love’ triple baked highlighter
I picked this up in Superdrug mainly because I love the packaging and It’s normally sold out in my local shop. It’s really affordable which has made it a perfect every day highlighter for me. Although it looks more golden in the package, it actually comes off as a lovely champagne (with a hint of pink) glow which you can build up to an intense glow or apply a small amount for a more subtle effect. I love the versatility of this and it definitely looks beautiful.
Original Source ‘Coconut and Shea Butter’ shower gel
What is it with me including shower gels in my monthly favourites way too much? You’ve probably heard me talk about Original Source a couple of times before, but I just can’t help it! I absolutely love these and can’t believe that they don’t cost more, AND you can usually get them on offer for even cheaper.. They feel lovely on the skin and smell amazing! I love this coconut and shea butter one, it kind of smells like cake too me. Original Source doesn’t lather up as much as other shower gels I have tried, but that’s only because every ingredient is vegan and natural – so I don’t mind!
Carex Complete Original hand wash
I know it’s probably a little weird to include a hand soap in a favourites post, specially an ‘original’ one with no special scents.. but I can’t get enough of this. It smells amazing and I always just feel SO clean when I’ve used it. Plus I get half price entry to Alton Towers with this pack so woo hoo.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lip ‘Lolita’
This is a classic lip colour and I’m sure you will have heard of it before, but if not it is a darkish brown lipstick. I find this colour so flattering on a lot of skin tones. The finish is matte so it lasts all day. I don’t find this super drying, however if you need to re-apply I would recommend taking off what you already have on on your lips first, rather than just putting on a second layer. This is pricey at £17, but it’s a lipstick I can trust to look good all day.
Morphe s27 brush
I literally use this brush every single time I use every shadow. It is my staple fluffy eye blending brush that I cannot live without. This one is vegan and blends out shadow so nicely and feels lovely and soft on the eye. I couldn’t recommend this enough.
That’s it for this month! A little bit of a mixed bag but let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
