Hi everyone,
Today I wanted to share with you another new makeup look (I know, ANOTHER ONE? but the season has inspired me!) This time I used the much loved Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. To me, this palette and the colours in it screams Autumn. I had lots of fun putting this look together, so I hope you’ll enjoy the post.
Step One – Base: I chose to use the L’oreal Infallible Primer (£8.99) to prime my skin. I haven’t used this primer in a long time but I remember it worked well with the foundation I wanted to use so I popped a little bit on. After this, I went in with my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation (£32.50) in the shade Cool Bone. For this, I used the Real Techniques buffer brush.
Step Two – Eyes: As usual, I used the ABH dipbrow pomade (£15) in the shade medium brown on a Morphe angled brush. I set the brows using Rimmel Brow This Way brow gel (£4.49). Next I applied my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) all over my eyelid as a base for the eyeshadow, I used a Real Techniques small pointed foundation brush for this. Then I went into the ABH Modern Renaissance palette (£41). I took the shade ‘Tempera’ on the fluffier side of the brush that comes in the palette and set my eyelid. Next, on the same brush, I took ‘Golden Ochre’ and applied it roughly in the crease of my eye to act as a transition shade. Then I added ‘Burnt Orange’ in the same area but a little more precisely, again with the same brush. Next I took my Morphe s12 brush and applied ‘Realgar’ on the outer and inner portions of the eyelid. I added a small amount of ‘Red Ochre’ on the outer V of my eye with the same Morphe s12 brush. I then applied the shade ‘Primavera’ with my finger on the centre of my eyelid and then intensified this using Barry M dazzle dust (£4.59) in the shade gold iridescent.
Once I was happy with all the blending on the eyelid, I applied a wing using the George liquid eyeliner (£? – CHEAP though). I added L’oreal Miss Baby Roll mascara (£7.99) and then applied the Eyeronic Lashes in the style Ursula (£11.50)
Step Three – Finishing: I applied the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose and on the centre of my forehead. I blended this out using the Real Techniques small pointed foundation brush. I set my face using the Rimmel stay matte powder (£3.99) on a big fluffy brush. Then, using a small pencil brush I went back into the Modern Renaissance palette and applied ‘Realgar’ on my lower lash line. Next I used the Avon glow bronzing powder (£10) to bronze up my face using my Morphe s13 brush. I used Rimmel lasting finish blush (£3.99) in the shade Santa Rose. I highlighted my cheek bones, cupids bow, inner corner using the I Heart Makeup baked highlighter in the shade Goddess of Love (£4.99). I completed the look with Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in the shade Lolita (£17) with a little HoneyLove by Mac (£16.50) over the top.
I hope you like the finished look!! Thanks for stopping by. Keep your eyes open for a thankyou giveaway coming soon to all of my lovely followers and supporters.
