Do you ever feel like your skin needs a MASSIVE drink because it looks and feels so dehydrated? I always feel like this after a shower. The hot water seems to dry my skin out and I need a great moisturiser to combat that dry feeling. I’ve decided to make a post today including my top 5 lotions/butters/creams which are my go-to’s for different reasons.
1: The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter
TBS is one of my all time favourite brands, particularly for body products, such as body butter. This one which I have chosen to include is the Satsuma one, in a 200ml tub. I have had this quite a while (I think this may be the old packaging) but it has lasted me so long. I love that this is thick, but it isn’t so thick that you can’t get it to massage into your skin. It is the perfect texture for when your skin needs a deep moisturise, but you don’t have the time to be working it into the skin for ages. The smell of this one is so lush too so if you like orange scents, I really recommend this one!

2: Cath Kidston Meadow Posy Body Lotion
This body lotion is my go to for if I am in a rush and need the lotion to absorb into the skin super quick. You literally massage this into the skin and a couple of minutes later your skin is completely dry, but noticeably moisturised! I haven’t found another body lotion that has this effect. So if you hate that sticky feeling, this one is for you.
You can buy this here for £5 (currently on sale from £10) 260ml
3: Champneys Citrus Blush Enlivening Body Butter
I have spoken about my love of Champneys here on my blog before, but I HAD to include it in my favourites. Although this is a ‘body butter’ I would say it in thinner than a traditional body butter and is actually more of a cream, in between a butter and a lotion. I love the smell of this too because citrus fragrances are some of my favourites, they seem to really wake me up! This feels like a luxurious body product which you need to try!
You can buy here for £10 for 300ml
4: Nivea Firming Q10 Body Lotion
This lotion is great to put on your thighs and tummy! I feel that it does give a firmed effect if you apply this every day for a week or so which obviously is great, especially when you can pick this up from the drugstore. It moisturizes these areas and soaks in quickly too which is great.
You can get 400ml here for £3.39 (on sale from £6.79)
5: The Body Shops Coconut Body Butter
I’ve got to say, this one is my ride or die! I have gone through a lot of these because I love it so much. I know I have an other TBS Butter on this list which you may be thinking this is the same as, but it really isn’t! The coconut one is so much thicker than the other ones in my opinion and whenever I want to relax after a shower I apply this. It does take quite a while to soak in since it is very thick, but it is super luxurious and leaves your legs with a healthy looking glow! I really love this one.
You can get it here for £15 for 200ml
It was hard cutting my faves down to just five, but these are the ones I decided on! Let me know if you plan on trying any of these?
Do you love a good body lotion/butter as much as me?!
