Empties #4

Hi everyone!

It’s finally time for another empties post here on my blog. I’ve been collecting things for a little bit now for this post so I hope you enjoy it. Empties posts are strangely some of my all time favourite posts.. I think it’s really interesting to see someone’s final thoughts on a product they have used the entirety of. So I hope you agree!!

Empties 4 skin

Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone wipes x4
I mean, I obviously love these since there is 4 empty packets.. They are my standard go to wipes which are gentle on the skin, saturated in liquid and remove every bit of makeup! If you want to see my full review on these, you can do so here

Nivea Micellar Water (For dry skin and for sensitive skin)
I usually always buy the micellar water aimed at dry skin but a friend bought the one for sensitive skin and then gave it to me as she couldn’t use it. I really enjoyed both! I like the one for dry skin a little bit more as I like having that extra moisture in my skin care routine.
Repurchase? Yes, the one aimed at dry skin

Boots Cotton Wool Pads
I liked using these as they were a little thicker than other brands I have tried. They don’t fleece either, which can be a problem with other brands too! The boots ones are a little more expensive than the other ones I’d normally purchase – but they’re still affordable!
Repurchase? Probably at some point

Superdrug Cotton Wool Pads
More cotton pads!! These ones are a little thinner than the Boots ones, but also a little cheaper! I’m not too fussy with cotton pads, as long as they don’t fleece up I’m happy!

Empties 4 shampoo

Herbal Essences daily detox raspberry and mint Shampoo & Conditioner
I liked using this shampoo and conditioner as I feel like it really cleaned my hair deeply and left it feeling light and airy! The smell was nice too. Herbal Essences is one of my go to brands for hair care so I knew I could count on these. If you want to read more about these, you can do so here
Repurchase? Maybe in the future, I like switching it up with hair care

Bristows Ultra Hold Hairspray
I love this hairspray and find it looks nice on the hair, without it looking too obviously hair sprayed! The effect isn’t like cardboard like some others can be. It holds the hair in place well too.
Repurchase? Yes

Nivea Pearl & Beauty deodorant
I really liked the smell of this deodorant and it did it’s job, the only problem was that it left white marks if you aren’t careful and spray from a good distance.
Repurchase? Probably not

L’oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask
Finally got through a jar of this incredible face mask and started onto a second! I love this mask so much, it pulls out all of the rubbish from your skin and leaves it feeling clean, fresh and smooth.

Empties 4 body wash

Sanctuary Spa Cleanse moisture burst facial wash
I bought this mini to take away on holiday with me a while back. I ended up loving it a lot so I finished the mini at home and then bought the full size! This cleans my skin so well and gets rid of any remaining makeup. You have to make sure you rinse it off well though! I have a full review of this product here

Soap & Glory Clean On Me
I seemed to have a lot of these mini’s hanging around the house for a while and I think I’ve finally used them all up! I really like this body wash and it is creamy and smells delicious. It leaves the skin feeling lovely and soft.
Repurchase? At some point

Original Source Coconut & Shea Butter body wash
As you probably already know, I LOVE Original Source body wash! This coconut one is one of my favourites. It kind of smells like cake to me? It’s all natural and cleans my skin really well.
Repurchase? Yes

Right Guard shower + oils Pink Jasmine shower gel
I included this one in a recent favourites post because I was so impressed. This shower gel added so much moisture into my skin, leaving it feels very silky soft! For me this was amazing, specially during the winter when my skin is the driest. I’d definitely recommend this.
Repurchase? Definitely

Wilko Fruits Passion Fruit and Melon shower gel
I didn’t really enjoy this shower gel as it didn’t lather up very well and washed away down the shower so quickly.. I ended up using it up very fast! I did like the fruity smell of it and it is incredibly affordable with it being Wilko’s own.
Repurchase? Probably not

Empties 4 makeup

Eyeronic Lashes ‘Ariel’
Eyeronic lashes is my go to brand for eyelashes as they are all stunning and last me 20 wears a pair! I had these ‘Ariel’ ones for a long time. These are perhaps my favourite style as they are natural looking and have a shorter band than other pairs which fits my eye better.

L’oreal False Lash Flutter Mascara
This mascara is really great for length and making the eyelashes ‘fluttery’ as the name would suggest! L’oreal mascara’s are usually very impressive from the drugstore and this one was no different. It caused no clumps in my lashes which is what I look for in a mascara.
Repurchase? In the future

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Another one of my go to products which I have been buying time and time again. I love this concealer for when I am going for a ‘no makeup makeup look’ as it is hydrating with a medium coverage.
Repurchase? Yes

Rimmel Exaggerate liquid eyeliner
This liquid eyeliner is so affordable, lasts so long and is just so damn good! It’s super black, doesn’t smudge or crumble and stays put all day. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a drugstore eyeliner.
Repurchase? At some point

Superdrug Foundation Brush
Does this count as an empty? I’m not sure, but I decided to include this anyway! I used this flat foundation brush for a while and really liked the way it applied my foundation – it didn’t leave streaks! This brush got old so I stopped using it as it needed throwing out. I’ve since switched to using a buffer brush for foundation.
Repurchase? If I need another flat foundation brush, yes

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation
A staple in my makeup collection. Most people have heard of this foundation and it is hyped up for good reason! It’s such amazing coverage and looks flawless on the face for such a long time. This bottle has lasted me ages as I don’t use this everyday, just for special occasions or when I know I need my makeup to last all day.
Repurchase? Already have

Phew! That’s it and that was a lot of empties! What did you go through this month? Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
I hope you enjoyed this post!

Jazmin xx

I’m really tempted to try the Herbal essences shampoo. It sounds great! Maybe when I’ve finished what I have at the moment I’ll give it a go!
