Bonfire Night 2017

Hi everyone!

Bonfire night is one of my favourite nights of the year, for me it beats Halloween every time! So it is no surprise I had an absolute ball last night when we went to a bonfire and watched a firework display!

I know I don’t usually share posts like this on my blog, I usually stick to beauty, but I thought some of you may be interested in these type of lifestyle posts, so I hope you enjoy this little post.

Bonfire night

So ofcourse, Bonfire night is actually officially only tonight (5th November), but the local display in Denby, Derby, was held last night instead. Probably since Bonfire night falls on a Sunday this year.

It started at 7:15 and we walked there, wrapped up warm! Entry was £4 for adults and £2 for under 16s – which I think was totally reasonable considering the firework display lasted a good 15 minutes! There was also a bouncy slide and some other things like that for kids.
The fireworks and bonfire itself were so pretty and after watching the display I had a burger and a can of coke (treat yourself!)

What did you do for Bonfire night? / What are you planning for tonight? I hope you enjoyed this post!

My boyfriend is English, but we live in America. He always talks about bonfire night and how great it is. One year we’ll come back so I can experience it!
