Affordable drugstore makeup look

Hi guys!

Today  want to share with you a makeup look I recently wore which was 100% drugstore makeup. Some of the high end makeup is soo expensive and as a student I really can’t afford tonnes of it, but that’s okay because drugstore makeup has really stepped up its game lately and this I ended up loving this full face. Hope you enjoy & find this helpful.

Step one – Base: I started out by using the L’oreal Infallible primer (£8.99) as a base. Next I used the LA Girl Pro Coverage foundation (£10.99) in the shade Fair. I buffed this out using my Real Techniques Buffer Brush.

Maybelline the nudes open

Step Two – Eyes: I first did my brows using the Maybelline Master brow pro palette (£8.99) and set them using the Rimmel Brow This Way brow gel (£4.99). Next I applied the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer all over my lid (£4.19) as a base for the eyeshadow – I used the Real Techniques pointed small foundation brush for this. I then went into the Maybelline The Nudes palette (£11.99). I took the cream shade, third along on top row, on my Eco Tools shade brush all over my lid to set the concealer. Next on the same brush I took the second to last shade on the top row which was is a grey taupe shade and placed that roughly in the crease of my eye. Next on a Morphe s12 brush I took the dark grey shade, last on the top row and placed that in the crease more precisely and on the outer v of the eye. Next I took the pale shimmer shade, second to last on the bottom row and placed that on the center of my lid and brought it into the inner corner.
Once I was happy with this, I added Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara (£8.99) on my lashes. I also used Rimmel Scandal’Eyes nude eyeliner (£4.49) on my waterline.

Step Three – Finishing: I applied the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) under my eyes, down my nose, on the centre of my forehead and on any blemishes. I used the Real Techniques pointed small foundation brush for this. I didn’t set my face as I don’t think it needed it. I contoured using the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting palette (£6.99) and then bronzed my skin using the L’oreal glam bronze duo in blonde harmony (£10.99). For the contour and bronze I used a Morphe s13 brush. I used Rimmel lasting finish blush in the shade Santa Rose (£3.99) on a Real Techniques contour brush. On a Morphe s29 brush, I used the I Heart Makeup baked highlighter in the shade Goddess of Love (£4.99). I applied this on my cheek bones, my cupids bow, the bridge of my nose, the brow bone and the inner corner of my eye. Finally, I used the Bourjois Rouge Edition velvet matte liquid lipstick in the shade Don’t Pink Of It! (£8.49) – I haven’t used this lipstick in the longest time, but I have fell back in love with it as of now!!

I was very sceptical about the Collection concealer but looking at your makeup I think I need to pop into a Superdrug and buy one for myself. Your look is gorgeous girl!
