Hi everyone!
I’m back at it today with another ‘sample wednesday’ post. If you don’t know what this is, it’s a series I am doing here on jazminheavenblog in which I post little first impression reviews on samples I have. Today I’m writing about the L’oreal Elivie extraordinary oil nourishing balm fine coconut oil.. what a long title.
Overview & Claims
This hair treatment is meant to ‘intensely nourish’ hair without weighing it down. It is designed for normal to dry hair and claims to leave hair ‘irresistibly soft and free-flowing’. You can use this in different ways. Either, in the shower, before blow drying or as a finishing touch. I chose to use this in the shower after shampooing, as I think it is easier that way.
You can buy a 300ml jar of this from Boots for £5.09 (but you can usually get it on offer for less.)
Review
The product is a medium thickness white cream, much a like a regular conditioner. It smelt like coconut, but the scent wasn’t very strong. I ran it through the lengths of my hair and left it on for 2-3 minutes as instructed. When it rinsed it off, my hair was noticeably softer, much softer than when I use my normal conditioner. I think this product deeply moisturised my hair. Once my hair had dried after the shower I was very pleased with the results. My hair wasn’t weighed down at all, it felt light, clean and it was very smooth and easy to brush. All in all I enjoyed this treatment and will probably purchase the full size when I see it in store.
I hope you have enjoyed this post and found is useful! Have you tried this? Which hair treatments do you recommend?
