January Favourites 2018!

Hi everyone!

I’m sure we’d all agree that January went on for a looonnggg time. It felt more like two months passed since New Year than one. However, I had such a good start to 2018 and feel really positive about this year! An unpopular opinion, but I love January as it’s my birthday month. I hope you all had a good month, despite the weather (unless you’re lucky enough to be somewhere that’s currently in Summer).

I’m excited to write up this monthly favourites, as I didn’t do one for December and I truthfully missed it. I adore these posts and have been loving reading the January favourites from other bloggers that I have already seen. I have a good mix of products to share with you this month, so let’s get started!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream
So I finally bit the bullet and bought a decent eye cream. I did quite a bit of research before picking up this one. A lot of people love TBS Vitamin E range and the reviews for this eye cream were promising. It is aimed at dark circles and fine lines, which is what I was looking for, and reviews said it was also moisturising. Let me tell you, this has been an absolute winner in my book! I have only been using it around 2-3 weeks, but already I feel like my dark circles have reduced a little. I have found that my under eye concealer has looked much smoother and less cakey too! I 100% recommend this.

Makeup Revolution x Sophdoesnails eyeshadow palette
I cannot tell you how impressed I have been with this palette. I purchased this, and the sophdoesnails highlight palette. Both are great, but this is amazing! the quality of these shadows are so good and the shade range is perfect. For £10, you cannot go wrong with this palette. This was my first time trying out Revolution the brand, and I have to say, I will definitely be trying more things.

Barry M Molten Metal Nail Paint – Blue Glacier
Seriously, the molten metal range by Barry M are the only nail polishes I am wearing at the moment. I adore this one in Blue Glacier. I have been wearing it a lot this month and I think the icy blue has really suited this time of year.

NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer
This primer has been the ONLY one I have been using since I got it at Christmas. I love how healthy my skin looks when I apply it, and it makes foundation go on really smoothly. This isn’t a moisturising primer, which is what I initially thought. It just makes your skin glow and look amazing. I have been loving this with the Kat Von D Lock it foundation (which I am about to talk about). It’s a perfect combo.

Kat Von D Lock It Foundation
For my birthday I received some vouchers for Debenhams and I knew I wanted to try out a new foundation. After asking friends and on twitter, I went with the KVD Lock It. I am absolutely loving it! It’s got amazing coverage and a little goes a long way (in fact, be careful not to apply too much or it can go a little cakey). It stays in place all day and looks so good. I’ll definitely be buying this over and over again.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Creamy Body Wash
It wouldn’t be a Jazmin favourites without a good old body wash in there would it? This one is so incredible, it’s like a body butter and body wash in one! The consistency is so thick and moisturising, which has been perfect for January when my skin needs the extra help. It smells amazing, as Soap & Glory always does, and feels super luxurious.

That’s all for January. Have you tried any of these? If so, what do you think? I’d be interested to know your opinion. Let me know in the comments below!

I’m desperate to try the KVD foundation, I’m torn between that and the Fenty Beauty foundation on which to try out next. Also the Revolution palette has been something I’ve been considering purchasing for a while now, although i really don’t need any more eyeshadow palettes in my collection. Lovely post X
