It’s favourites time again… how?! After the long January we had, February has absolutely flown by. I’ve been super busy this month, third year uni life is getting on top of me. But I have still made some time to try out new products and I have discovered some amazing ones which I am going to share with you.
Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara – HD Collagen Coat (£10.50)
I didn’t think any mascaras could live up to Maybelline lash sensational, but I was wrong. I have been loving this mascara, it give me volume and length and it doesn’t transfer like so many other mascara’s do. If you haven’t tried this already, give it a go!
Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink – Dreamer (£9.99)
I received this as a gift in January for my birthday and have been wearing it a lot this month. It is a pale cool toned pink which is right up my street as these types of colours are my absolute favourites to wear. Whenever I wear this I put the Rimmel lipstick (which I am about to talk about) over the top to stop it being too matte and too drying.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss lipstick – 45 (£5.49)
On its own, this lipstick isn’t my favourite. It isn’t super pigmented and the staying power could be better. However, over the top of other lipstick this looks beautiful. The formula is so creamy and comfortable. On top of the Maybelline matte ink dreamer lipstick it is perfect. All month I have been wearing this lipstick combo.
Garnier Skin Active Botanical Balm Soothing Rose moisturiser (£12.99)
It’s unusual for me to use any moisturiser other than my Nivea Soft. However, I have been loving using this in the evening before bed. It has a thicker consistency and feels super moistursing on my dry skin. It’s also a big tub so at £12.99 it won’t break the bank.
Primark Nudes Metallic Eye Cream (£2)
Primark have really stepped their makeup game up. Some of the products in there are great and super affordable. I thought this eye cream looked so pretty in the shop so for £2 I had to pick it up. I have been loving wearing it all over the lid with a shimmer shadow on top. It intensifies the shadow and it makes it last a really long time.
Champney’s Summer Dream Rewarding Body Souffle (£10)
If you want a body moisturiser that is light weight, sinks in quickly but is also very moisturising then this is what you need! I love the souffle texture of this. It is so easy to use and you won’t be waiting decades to be able to get dressed after using it either. And the smell!!! I honestly think this is the best smelling product ever, it is so fruity and summery. (Also this is currently part of a 3 for 2 in Boots so there’s no better time.)
That’s all for this month! Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!
