Empties #5

Hi everyone!

It’s been quite a while since I did one of these posts. I’ve been saving all my trash up and I now feel like I have enough to talk about! I absolutely love these type of posts. I find them so interesting, because you can really get a good idea of how the product preformed. I hope that you find this post just a little bit useful.

empties 5 mini sets

Cath Kidston Body Lotion & Body Wash
I think I have spoke about this little body lotion on my blog somewhere before. It’s such a great moisturiser, because it’s really moisturising, yet it dries down super fast so your skin isn’t left with that sticky feeling. This scent ‘Meadow Posy’ is so good. I also really love the body wash. It lathers up well and the scent stays on you for quite a while afterwards. Plus, this packaging is super cute!
Repurchase? I guess this isn’t the sort of thing you buy yourself, so probably not.

Champneys Shower Cream & Body Butter
I absolutely adore the body butter from this set! It has the best, smooth & thick consistency. It soaks into the skin really well and leaves me feeling really hydrated. And that feeling lasts! The shower cream is really good too. It makes me feel really clean after using. The scent ‘citrus blush’ is one of my favourites now, although when I first smelt it, I wasn’t as keen.
Repurchase? I already have a big pot of the body butter!

empties 5 packets

The Body Shop Facial Sponge
I did a first impressions review of this not too long back (when I got this in my TBS advent calendar). I really enjoyed using this as it felt as though it helped to deeply clean my face and exfoliate a bit too. My skin was so smooth after use, which made my makeup go on really nicely after cleaning my face every time. The sponge lasted me quite a while too, as long as I rung it out after use and left it to dry somewhere clean and airy.

Lacura Cotton Pads
I picked these up super cheap from Aldi. I think these cotton pads are good quality, they’re thick and don’t fleece.. what more could I want?
Repurchase? Yes

Superdrug Cotton Pads
Again, these are cheap and handy to pick up as I go into Superdrug quite a lot. These ones are a bit thinner than the Lacura ones, but still do the job well!

empties 5 makeup etc

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner
I had a few of these, but only saved one as the packets can be pretty messy.. I really like this product! The ends of my hair get dry sometimes so this is really good to add some moisture back into my hair.
Repurchase? Probably will do at some point

Nivea Soft Moisturiser
If you read my blog a lot, you’ll already know I love this moisturiser. This was the first time I bought the bigger pot version as opposed to the smaller squeezy tube. This pot did last me a really long time, so I did save money getting this probably. But I’ll more than likely stick to the tubes in future as I feel like the pots can be kind of unhygienic.
Repurchase? I have a tube of it at the moment!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Most people I know love this concealer and I am no different! It’s so affordable, so full coverage and just so good. I use this under my eyes pretty much every time I do my makeup. I also use it as an eyeshadow primer.
Repurchase? Always

Maybelline The Rocket Volum Mascara
I bought this mascara after seeing a YouTuber love it (I can’t remember who..). However, I was super disappointed with this mascara. It doesn’t give me much volume or length really, but the main problem was how much it transfered! Whenever I used this, I found it printed under my eyebrows within an hour or so. I haven’t finished the tube, but I’m throwing it out.
Repurchase? No

Eyeronic Lashes in Ariel
I really love these lashes! I used them a lot of times before having to throw them out. They stay in really good condition if you look after them. I like the style Ariel the best because they a small enough to fit my eye and they give a lovely natural effect.

empties 5 shampoo

Garnier Ultimate Blends The Delicate Soother Shampoo & Conditioner
I’m not a huge fan of this Garnier set. At first I was, because it was gentle on my hair and scalp. But it didn’t leave my hair feeling clean enough and I found that I had to wash my hair more often when using this.
Repurchase? No

L’oreal Elvive Fibrology Air Shampoo & Conditioner
I enjoy using this L’oreal set every time I buy it, but I can’t use it set after set or it stops being effective for some reason. It it meant to make your hair grow, and I can’t really tell if it does or not. Either way, I like the set and it cleans my hair well.
Repurchase? Yes

empties 5 skin care

Sancutary Spa Moisture Burst Facial Wash
At the moment, this is my go to face cleanser. I like the little beads in it that help to add moisture to the face. I always take my makeup off first with a wipe, then go in with this. It leaves me feeling clean and refreshed!
Repurchase? Already have

Nivea Micellar Water
I’ve spoke about this loads already on my blog. I love this micellar water and I use it all the time to take off any remaining cleanser or shampoo residue. I have gone through it slower lately (as I have been using toner more as well) so there are only two empty bottles. But I’ve almost done with a third.
Repurchase? Yes

Johnsons Makeup Be Gone Wipes
Again, I’ve spoke about these wipes a lot on my blog. I really like them and they are the only wipes I’d buy now. You can usually get them on offer in Wilko’s or Superdrug, which makes them not too pricey. They are just wet enough and take my makeup off well.
Repurchase? Always

empties 5 body wash

Imperial Leather Cherry Blossom & Peony Shower Gel
The scent of this is one of my favourites! It was so refreshing and always woke me up in the morning. It lathers well and lasted me a really long time.
Repurchase? When I’ve used up my huge stash of body wash

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Wash
I loved using this because it had a lovely thick moisturising consistency. However, I think this may have broken my out, which is such a shame! I have another tube of it left, but I think I will give it away to a friend.
Repurchase? Sadly no

The Body Shop Coconut Shower Cream
Coconut is one of my favourite scents for showers and creams as it makes me feel like I’m on holiday somewhere hot! This shower cream felt really luxurious and left my skin so soft and clean.
Repurchase? Maybe at some point

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Mini Shower Gel
I’ve only just used this one up last night. The smell of this is so amazing! (I know I’ve said this about quite a few…) I found this gel really refreshing. However, it didn’t seem to lather up as well as some of the other ones unfortunately.
Repurchase? Maybe for the scent..

That’s it for this empties!! I can FINALLY bin all of this trash.. which always feel like a massive declutter. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this post!

Jazmin xx

These are always so addicting, these empties posts. Not even sure why. It is cool to learn about different products all at once though.
