Spring Makeup Look Using Revolution x Sophdoesnails Eye-Shadow Palette!

Hey everyone!

Today I’m sharing with you my favourite look I’ve done using the Revolution x Sophdoesnails eye-shadow palette. As you probably know, I really love this palette. The colour selection is great and the pigmentation is seriously impressive for drugstore makeup. If you want to see how I created this look, then just keep reading!

Step one – Base: First I used the NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer (£15) to give my skin a bit of a glow, which is good for this time of year! Next I applied the Kat Von D Lock It Foundation (£27) using my Real Techniques buffer brush.

Step Two – Eyes: I first did my eyebrows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (£19). I used a small angled brush for this. I set my brows using Rimmel Brow This Way (£4.99). I then applied Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) all over my lid. Next I delved into the Revolution palette (£10). I set the eyelids using ‘Penguin’ from the palette with my Morphe s27 brush. Next I used ‘Iced Coffee’ in the crease of my eye with the same brush. Then, with a Morph s12 brush, I took a mixture of ‘Tiramisu’ and ‘Peaches’ and applied that on the inner and outer third of my eye, leaving the centre blank. Finally I added ‘Sparks Fly’ to the centre of my lid using my finger. Once I was happy with all the eyeshadow, I added a small wing using the Soap & Glory Supercat liner (£6.50). Finally I curled my eyeslashes and applied the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£8.99).

Step Three – Finishing: I applied Collection Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes, down my nose, on my chin and in the centre of my forehead. I blended this out using the Real Techniques flat foundation brush. I set my entire face using Rimmel Stay Matte powder (£3.99). Then with a Morphe s13 brush I contoured my cheeks and forehead using the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette contour colour (£6.99). Next I applied the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso with the Real Techniques contour brush. Then I took my Morphe s26 brush and applied the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Charming Pink (£21) on my cheek bones, in the corner of my eyes, down my nose and my cupids bow. Finally I applied the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink lipstick in Dreamer (£9.99) and added some of the Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss lipstick in 45 (£5.49).
