‘Barbie Vibes’ Super Simple Makeup Look

Hey everyone!

Do you know how much I love pink? Maybe you do! A pale cool toned pink has always been my go to lip. It gives me serious Barbie vibes. A couple of days ago I created a look that literally did make me feel like Barbie herself.. with a couple more bleach blonde highlights I would have been well on my way! I decided I wanted to share the look on my blog as it was super simple to do, and looked pretty!

Step One – Base: First I used the L’oreal infallible primer (£8.99) as my pores were looking a little on the larger side.. I wouldn’t say this is the best pore filling primer, but it is okay! Next I used my Maybelline Superstay foundation (£9.99) with a Real Techniques Buffer Brush.

Step Two – Eyes: As always I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (£19) for my eyebrows. I used a Morphe small angled brush for this. I added a little bit of a Morphe dark brown eyeshadow to the tail ends of my brows. Then I set them using Rimmel Brow This Way (£4.99). Next I applied Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) all over my eyelid as a sort of primer. Then I set my entire lid with a cream coloured shadow. I used one from the Morphe Bronzed Mocha palette, but any will do! Next I used the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lovely Pink (£8.99) as an eyeshadow. I used the Morphe s27 brush and applied it in my crease, not being very precise! This took quite a bit of building up as the blush isn’t super pigmented, but once it was done it looked lovely! Next I dipped into the Revolution x Sophdoesnails highlighter palette (£8). On a pencil brush I added the pink shade onto my inner corner and dragged along the inner portion of my lower lash line. Once I was happy with all that, I curled my eyelashes and used the YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara (£26) on both my top and bottom lashes.

Step Three – Finishing: I used the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer under my eyes, down my nose and on the centre of my forehead, to conceal and brighten. I used the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush for this. I then set my face using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder (£3.99) with a big fluffy Morphe brush. Next, on a Morphe s13 brush I contoured my cheeks and forehead using the Zoeva Spectrum Contour palette. I used the lighter ashier shade precisely to contour and then the darker shade to bronze up a bit more. Next I applied the Max Factor blush from earlier with a Real Techniques contour brush. To highlight, I used the Revolution x Sophdoesnails highlighter palette from earlier with a Morphe s26 brush. I mixed the pink and white shade together. Finally I applied the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink lipstick in Dreamer (£9.99).

And that’s the finished look! As you can see this is a really easy look to do and you can basically use whatever products you have in! These are just the ones I chose to use.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think in the comments below.
