Halo Eye Makeup Look Using The Revolution x Soph Eyeshadow Palette

Hi everyone,

How have you all been? For those of you in the UK, how amazing has this weather been?! It has been putting me in the best mood, and I am so ready for summer! I recently wore this pretty halo eye look out for a few drinks, and I wanted to share it with you, because I think it’s such a cute look for the summer months. This is a look I do quite a lot. If you want to see what I used and how I created the look, just keep reading.

Pink Summer look 1

Step One – Base: I first used the NYX Honey Dew Me Up primer (£15) to give my face a healthy glow. I love this primer when I wan a dewy healthy look! Once this has soaked in, I applied the Maybelline Superstay foundation (£9.99) and blended it out with a Real Techniques Buffer Brush.

Step Two – Eyes:  As always I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (£19) for my eyebrows. I used a Morphe small angled brush for this. I added a little bit of a Morphe dark brown eyeshadow to the tail ends of my brows. Then I set them using Rimmel Brow This Way (£4.99). Once I had done my brows, I applied the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) all over my lid. Then I went into the Revolution x Soph eyeshadow palette (£10). I used a Morphe s27 and applied the white shade called Penguin all over my eye lid. Next, on the same brush I applied the shade called Peaches in my crease. I added quite a bit of this and applied it roughly. Next I took a Morphe s12 brush and applied the pink shade called Strawberry Sweets and added it all in my crease and on the outer and inner portions of my eyelid, leaving the centre blank. Then on my finger, I added the pale pink shimmer shade called Pink Champagne onto the centre of my lid, to create a sort of halo affect. I blended the edges with the Morphe s27 brush. Using a pencil brush, I added a little bit of Strawberry Sweets along my lower lash line. Once I was happy with this, I added a small wing with the Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner (£6.50). I used the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD mascara (£10.50) on my lashes. Then I applied the MyLeah lashes in the style ML F27.

Step Three – Finishing: I added Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer under my eyes, on my chin and on my forehead. I blended it out using a Real Techniques pointed foundation brush. I then set the concealed areas with Rimmel Stay Matte powder (£3.99), using a Morphe fluffy brush. Next I took a Morphe E16 brush and applied the palest contour shade on my cheeks from the Zoeva Contour Spectrum palette (£15). I then used the darker shade from the palette on my cheeks and around my forehead. I used a Morphe s13 for this. Next, using a Real Techniques contour brush I applied Milani Baked Blush in the shade Luminoso. Then I used a Morphe s26 brush and applied a mix of the two lightest highlighter shades from the Revolution x Soph highlighter palette (£8). Finally I used Mac lipstick in the shade Honeylove (£17.50) and added some Bare Minerals Gen Nude Radiant lipstick in the shade Baby (£18).

And that’s all! What do you think of this look? Let me know!

Jazmin xx
