I cannot believe we are half way through the year already?! Hello June! May was a great month, we had lots of sun & I’ve had lots of time recovering from finally finishing uni. I have a few favourites for the month of May, which I am going to be sharing with you in this post. If you want to know what I have been loving – just keep reading.
Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer
In my opinion, this is one of the best drugstore concealers. Recently I have been wearing this under my eyes and on blemishes, with no foundation. I love how natural looking the texture is as it has a slight healthy glow to it. It’s really moisturising on my dry skin, which is a reason I love it so much! Perfect for a ‘no makeup’ makeup look. I’ll continue wearing this in the warmer weather.
Primark Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon’s
I have a few shades of these, but the ones I have been wearing a lot lately are ‘Ballerina’ and ‘Dulce De Leche’. I like to wear these when I have minimal makeup on as the nude-sh shades in a velvet matte finish pair really well with this kind of look. These stay on the lips quite well but will need touching up if you eat. I really like these to stick in my handbag… specially for the price.
The Body Shop Mango Whipped Lotion
I got this mini lotion in my TBS advent calendar this Christmas, but since I have sooo many lotions, butters and creams – I’ve only cracked into this one fairly recently. I have to say that I have been loving this one because it sinks into the skin so fast! Maybe it’s to do with the whipped texture, but it’s so good when you are wanting to be quick. I do love a good thick body butter, but sometimes you need something more like this. The mango smell is also nice, it is quite artificial smelling though, but I don’t mind.
Rimmel Wonder’Swipe 2 in 1 Liner to Shadow in ‘INSTAFAMOUS’
As you may know if you’ve been reading my blog lately, I was sent a few of these Wonder’Swipes in my Influenster vox-box. This gold one in INSTAFAMOUS is absolutely stunning! I like to use it as both a shadow and a liner to add a bit more glam to my makeup looks. I’ve really enjoyed playing with it in May.
Nivea Soft Rose Lip Balm
Such a simple little product, but it is such a staple for me! I don’t want to break the bank buying expensive lip balms, so when my lips are feeling dry, I always reach for Nivea. I find that it is really good for my lips. I like this one in Soft Rose as it adds a VERY slight pink tint to my lips. I have been using it a lot lately.
Morphe Bronzed Mocha Palette
I wanted to include this palette in my May favourites because I love it so much, and I don’t feel like I’ve spoken about it enough. It literally has every shade I need for every day wear in there, and has plenty of shades for night looks too. It’s super versatile and I find myself reaching for it on almost a daily basis.
That’s all! What do you think? Let me know!
