L’oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask

Hey everyone!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may know that I am a big fan of the L’oreal Pure Clay masks. I have tried a few from the range, and so far I have reviewed the Detox mask, the Glow mask and the Blemish Rescue mask. Today I’m going to review the Bright mask. My boyfriend kindly gifted me this a while back because he knew I’d been eyeing it up. What a star!

L'oreal bright mask 1

Overview & Claims
– Evens tone and illuminates.
– Immediately skin is deeply cleansed and appears more even and luminous.
– After a week of use tone is clarified and complexion is fresh and bright.
– Use after use, skin can breathe and is visibly transformed.

A jar of this is £7.99. The box says it will last you for 10 applications – however, I would say you can make this go further than that as you don’t need to apply a thick layer.

How to use
Apply a layer of the mask all over the face (2 times a week). Leave on for 10 minutes, or until dried down, and remove with warm water.
To remove, I personally just jump in the shower as I find it easier!

Review
I love the bright yellow colour to this mask! Application is easy. The texture feels very much like the Glow mask – slightly thinner than the Detox mask but definitely wouldn’t consider it ‘thin’. As with the Glow one, there are little scrubby particles within the mask. I find that this is great to exfoliate the skin, and definitely leaves my face feeling really smooth.
After using this mask a few times, I would say I definitely like it! It refreshes my skin and leaves me feeling soft and clean. It is something I reach for in the morning if I have a bit more time and I want my makeup to go on extra smoothly, and look a little more flawless.
Really though, it is super similar to the Glow mask and I am provided with the same result whether I use this Bright mask or the Glow one! So I’d definitely say there is no need to purchase both.
If you’re looking for an exfoliating mask, which will leave your skin feeling super soft and refreshed, then I’d say give this a try!

I have been using the detox clay mask from Loreal and I love it! It works like a charm.
Bright clay mask hasn’t been launched in India yet, but looking by your review it sounds promising. Definitely gonna check it out once it’s here. Thanks xx

I liked their black mineral mask, but exfo one that is orange not at all, it didn’t do anything to my skin. Thanks for the review, I think I’ll pass on this one as I don’t think it will work for me. xx

Sadly l’oréal masks don’t really work for me. But I love the colour of it xx.
