Airplane Essentials!

Hey guys!

On Wednesday 13th I fly out to Budapest (I am probably already there are you are reading this).

Before I go, I thought it would be a good idea to write up a post all about my Airplane Essentials! These are the things that make a flight much more enjoyable for me, so hopefully you will find this useful.

SKIN CARE
When I fly – my naturally dry skin can become even drier! Therefore, I like to be kind of EXTRA about my skin care on a plane. Of course, I can’t really start wacking out a full on routine with cleansers etc, but I do what I can!

Face Mask
I always like to a have the option of a face mask. It doesn’t take up much room, so even if I don’t end up using it, it’s definitely handy to have in my travel bag. This time I’m going to be taking the Soap & Glory Radiance Boosting Mask. If you can get past the embarrassment, there is nothing better than a face mask on the plane!

Moisturiser
This is absolute must for me. If I forgot this one, I’d be picking one up in the airport. I am taking my trusty Nivea Soft, and will likely be topping up a couple of times throughout the flight.

Eye Cream
Another skin savior which I always apply on a flight. I love this The Body Shop Vitamin E one as it adds a perfect amount of moisture to my under eye area.

Lip Balm
I personally cannot live without a lip balm – my lips get so dried out, particularly on a plane. I’ve packed my pot of Shea lip butter, as SOMEONE always needs to borrow some lip balm, so a pot one is better to have handy!

Hand Cream
I don’t always take hand cream, but lately I’ve been applying hand cream religiously – so I don’t want to stop now! I think my hands will thank me for it on the plane.

ENTERTAINMENT
Flights can be so boring… I like to have a bit of choice in what I can be doing!

Podcasts
If you’re a podcast listener, make sure you have downloaded an episode or two onto your phone prior to flying! I’m really looking forward to sitting down and listening to the latest episode of Casefile.

Music
I don’t think I’ve ever been on a flight and not listened to music. You could wait on listening to a new album and listen to it on the plane? Don’t forget earphones for both the music and podcasts!

Book
It’s always good to take a book on a plane with you if you’re into reading. I usually buy a new book for the plane in the airport – it’s a little ritual I must do! I also have To Kill A Mockingbird which I want to re-read, so I will take that, and probably buy another one to… it’s tradition you know!

DOCUMENTATION
Don’t forget your passport and boarding pass, and any other documentation you may need.

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have found this useful – what are your airplane essentials?! Let me know!

I couldn’t survive without lip balm, water and hand cream definitely, those are so important for me. I need to try that Nivea moisturizer, never seen it here before though. xx

I always buy a bottle of water after going through security. I don’t like being on a flight without some water. I’m also a bit of a puzzle book geek! They can kill so much time 🙂

Great list! These are certainly some of the most essential accessories you’ll need for airplane travel.
