It’s time for another Empties post!! I only did one two month ago, but my trash has accumulated up a bit quicker than normal because I’ve been trying to use up products that are half empty! This time, I seem to have got through quite a few body lotions.. It feels good to finish up products that have been in my stash for a while. If you’d like to find out my overall thoughts on the products I’ve used up, just keep reading!
Primark Cotton Pads
Who doesn’t love these cotton pads? SUPER cheap & great quality. You can’t go wrong. I usually stock up on these whenever I go into Primark – and I will continue to do so.
Tesco Cotton Pads
These cotton pads are decent, but they did fleece a little and left little bits of cotton wool on my face occasionally. I’d probably only get these again if I desperately needed some and these were the only ones I could get!
Repurchase? Probably not.
Johnsons Makeup Be Gone Wipes
Will there ever be an empties post which doesn’t feature these wipes? It is no secret that I love these wipes. They are a bit wetter than other wipes I’ve used which feels great for my dryer skin. I use these to take of the bulk of my makeup and then go in with a cleanser to get the rest off.
Repurchase? Do we even need to ask!? Of course.
Nivea Micellar Water
Again, a product I always like to have in! These two bottles are different.. I’m not sure if the product inside is meant to be different, or if the packaging has just changed – but I definitely recognised no difference in the product!
Bristows Ultra Hold Hairspray
This has been my hairspray of choice for a while now. I only use it when I curl my hair, but it always keeps my curls in place without making my hair look crunchy or shiny.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Wash
This is my second tube of this stuff and the more I use it the less I like it. I almost gave this away as I thought the last tube may have broken me out, however I decided it wasn’t this as I’m pretty sure it was the tablets I was taking. I like this for shaving, but other than that I’ve decided it’s not for me. I like body washed that make me feel super clean and refreshed. This one will probably be good for you if you have dry skin on your body!
Champneys Citrus Blush Body Lotion
I really like this body lotion, it smells incredible and dries quickly, so it’s good for those times when I want to get ready quickly after a shower. I have a big tub of the body butter from the range, so I probably won’t purchase the lotion for now. But maybe in the future!
Repurchase? Maybe one day.
Zoella Blissful Mistful Mini Body Mist
I really love the mini Zoella body mists as they’re so handy to throw in a hand bag! Blissful Mistful is a lovely scent too and I’ve enjoyed having a little spritz throughout the day. The scents last a decent amount of time for the price too.
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Sample
This perfume smells so incredible… I’ve never really fallen in love with a perfume as much as I have this one. Next time I’m purchasing a full perfume – It’s gonna be this one! It’s such a sexy, almost smoky smell. I expected it to be much sweeter, give it’s name, but it is actually a perfect balance.
Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation
This is a really good foundation if you’re looking for something super affordable. I wouldn’t recommend if you have very oily skin, but other than that it’s great. This is the lightest shade, and it’s still a bit too dark for me, so that’s something to bare in mind!
Repurchase? Maybe in the future.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Lots of people love this concealer, and for good reason! I love a full coverage concealer which also helps to brighten up the face… it’s also so cheappppp.
Garnier Soothing Toner with Rose Water
I have been loving this toner because it truly is soothing on my skin! I like to use this after my cleansing routine to balance my skin out. I do think this helps to smooth my skin out, but I couldn’t say for sure. Either way, I’m a fan!
Lush Breath Of Fresh Air Toner
This toner is really refreshing which is fab! I used this one a bit differently to the Garnier toner. I like to spray this on my face just for a little refresh during the day. I may repurchase in the future, but I don’t think I need it in my collection for now.
Nivea Soft Moisturiser
Are we going to talk about this moisturiser again? I love it so much. It’s a great basic moisturiser which feels really soothing on the skin. I use this every morning and night, and it really does help with my dry skin.
The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter
I’m actually embarrassed about how long I’ve had this body butter.. I only had a little bit left so I decided to use it up before chucking it out. I find this body butter a little bit too greasy for my liking. It takes so long to dry down which can be annoying. It does moisturise well though!
Repurchase? Probably not.
The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter
I love this body butter! It’s thick and does take a while to soak in, but it’s definitely not as greasy as the satsuma one. I love the scent of the coconut range too.
Repurchase? Eventually, when my stash has shrunk!
The Body Shop Smoky Rose Body Lotion
The scent of this isn’t my favourite, but the lotion itself is good. It’s definitely not AS moisturising as other lotions (for example, the Champneys one) but that can be good for days when you just want a bit of extra help.
Repurchase? Probably not.
The Body Shop Mango Whipped Lotion
I used this lotion up so quickly!? It’s sooo good. I love the texture and the fact it soaks into the skin so quickly. The smell is nice, although slightly artificial. I would definitely like to get this again at some point because it was so handy to stick on after a shower.
Repurchase? Yes eventually.
