June Favourites 2018

Hey everyone!

It’s July! Where has the first 6 months of the year gone, seriously? It feels like only yesterday I was welcoming in the new year, crazy! June was a great month, I got to visit Budapest, and the weather has been really lovely too. Tomorrow I go to Wroclaw, Poland for a few days which I am super excited for. But before I go I wanted to share with you what I have been loving in June.

Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Lipstick (Dream Girl)
You may already know that the Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Lipsticks are some of my absolute favourites – I love the formula because it’s super matte, but not drying. I have quite a few of them in my collection, but this month I have been reaching for Dream Girl quite a lot! It’s not a super summery colour or anything, it’s actually more of an autumn colour… but I just fell in love with it again in June.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Wow Wings Mascara
I don’t wanna say too much about this newly launched Rimmel mascara, because I’ll be posting a full review of it very soon. But I was recently sent this by Influenster and I’ve been trying it out since. I adore this mascara, the formula is quite thick which means you get a lot of volume with just one coat!

Rimmel Rita Ora Nail Polish (270 Sweet Retreat)
I like Rimmel this month huh? I really don’t paint my nails all that often. However, I do paint my toe nails more frequently and this month the ONLY polish I’ve been wearing on my toes is this gorgeous pink one from Rimmel.

Zoella Beauty Snow Silky Body Lotion
So I know this is Christmas edition, but I only got round to using it this month as I have so many lotions and butters in my collection at the moment which I am trying to get through. I have been LOVING this one because of the texture – it seems to be almost inbetween a lotion and a butter for me, which is great as it soaks in quicker than a butter, but provides more moisture than a lotion. Personally, my skin is super dry in the height of summer because the sun dries me out a lot. The scent of this is also incredible, much more floral (due to the peony) than I’d expected, with just a hint of fruity cranberry. I know it’s Christmas edition, but the scent is more spring like to me.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss (Plumsup)
Usually I am not a massive gloss wearer, but in June I wore this so much! I just wore it on its own, and it made my lips looks so healthy. Of course, this is a plumping lip gloss and whilst I don’t recognise any dramatic changes when I use this, it does make my lips looks a little smoother and juicier. I like the shade Plumsup as the colour comes off as ‘your lips but better’ on me.

Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling Eau De Toilette
This month my fragrance of choice has been this Lacoste one! I received this as a gift not too long back and it came with a mini shower gel too. This scent is really nice, very feminine and not too strong, which I love because perfumes can give me headaches really easily. However, this scent is strong enough that you can definitely smell it and it lasts quite a while too.

  1. I love the Rita Ora nail polish. I got this a while back and it’s just great! I actually have it on my toe nails at the moment. It’s the prefect summer colour! I live your blog.

  2. Can’t wait on review on that new Rimmel mascara, I love trying new ones. Never tried any Rimmel mascara, I just tried first Rimmel foundation and I really like it. I need to try more products from them because I don’t own many. Lovely favorites girl, I always love your recommendations. xx
