Empties #7

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and feel ready for the next week ahead. Today I am sharing with you a new empties post as I have accumulated a bag full now, over around the last 2+ months! I absolutely love writing & reading empties posts as its great to have a full overall opinion of a product after using up the whole thing. If you’re interested to find out what I think of all these items, please keep reading.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Shampoo & Conditioner
I have had this shampoo & conditioner combo for ages now, and I’ve finally used up the last bit! Although this stuff is a little bit more pricey than the average shampoo/conditioner, it is really good. I like how soft it makes my hair feel! I do think this is nice to maintain a nice blonde colour, however if you have some particularly brassy tones, you may need some violet toning shampoo instead.
Repurchase? Maybe.

The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel
I liked having this mini shower gel as they are handy to take away. I took this to Budapest this year and is lasted me fine for the time I was there. It lathers up really nicely and feels nice to use. The mango scent isn’t my favourite from TBS as I feel it does smell a little artificial, however it is still quite nice.
Repurchase? In a different scent, yes.

Avon Senses Moisturising Heaven Harmony Shower Creme
I’ve finally used up this big bottle of shower gel from Avon. I really loved the ‘Lily of the Valley & Apple’ scent of this, it was so relaxing to use in the shower. I also think this shower gel was really moisturising in comparison to other ones I have used in the past.

L’oreal Elvive Dream Lengths Shampoo & Conditoner
I used this combo up quite recently and I did enjoy using it. I would agree that it is good for the lengths of the hair as it made my hair lovely and soft. However, I found I had to wash my hair more often when using this, which was disappointing.
Repurchase? No

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo & Conditioner
I really liked how this shampoo & conditioner made my hair feel. It lathered up really well and left my hair feeling light, fresh and super clean. The scent wasn’t my favourite, but I could look past it as I really enjoyed the product.
Repurchase? Maybe at some point.

Empties 7 skin care

Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone Wipes x4
I literally talk about these in every single empties post. I love these wipes, they are the only ones I ever use. They remove my makeup well and don’t feel drying.
Repurchase? Always

Nivea MicellAIR Water
I always have some of this in stock for makeup mistakes and removing residue from my face. I have been using this at a much slower rate than usual lately, I now don’t seem to reach for it every day as I have a few toners I like too!
Repurchase? Yes

Nivea Soft Moisturiser
This is my go to moisturiser as it is affordable and feels good on the skin. It keeps my skin feeling nice and soft and it does the job!
Repurchase? Yes

Superdrug Cotton Pads & Boots Cotton Pads
I pretty much buy any cotton pads as I go through quite a lot. Both of these are great – they don’t fleece up and they are affordable.
Repurchase? Yes

Empties 7 Face masks

The Body Shop Seaweed Toner
I really like this toner for when my skin is feeling just a little oily. I have gone through this bottle slowly as my skin is typically quite dry, however every so often I feel like the oil has built up and this stuff makes my skin feel fresh again! I think if you have oily skin you may really like this toner.
Repurchase? I have a back up.

Zoella Lets Spritz Mini Spray
I loved having this mini to carry around in my bag! Lets Spritz is one of my favourite Zoella scents! I have the big version of this still. I think the scent is ideal for the hotter months.
Repurchase? No need too. I have the bigger one, and I have other minis for my bag.

Soap & Glory Bright + Beautiful Sheet Mask
I recently wrote up a whole review on this mask which you can read here if you’re interested. But to sum it up, I loved this mask and I think you would love it too if you have dull skin that needs a bit of brightening.
Repurchase? Yes

Anatomicals Deep Cleansing Mud Mask
To be honest I was quite let down by this mask. I don’t think it really did anything to my skin so it was kind of a waste of time. It’s affordable and has quite a few applications worth in a sachet, so if you want to try it, at least it won’t break the bank. This just wasn’t for me!
Repurchase? No

SK:N Cleanse & Exfoliate Sachet x2
I used up these two testers not too long back and from what I could tell, I love this! My skin truly felt velvety smooth and super clean after each use. This isn’t the cheapest cleanser, but I will be purchasing this once I have used up some of the other cleansers in my collection.

Nivea Soft Rose Lip Balm
I like having the stick lip balms next to my bed every night as I find they are easier than pots to work out and use in the dark when I am half alseep! This one did the job – it’s pretty moisturising however I have had better ones.
Repurchase? Probably at some point.

Primark Lip Liner
This nude lip liner came in a lip kit from Primark. I liked the shade of this, however the liner is not very creamy at all so drags on the lips a bit with application. You barely get any product in this as it doesn’t sharpen or twist up – you only get the initial nib, which means I could only use this a few times.
Repurchase? No.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Do I really need to talk about this? I love this concealer and it has been my go to for some time now. The coverage is great, it doesn’t crease too bad and it is really brightening! It’s also super cheap.
Repurchase? Yes.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
This is one of my favourite drugstore mascaras and is usually the one I reach for on a day to day basis. I think this adds both length and volume, doesn’t crumble or smudge, and is easily removed too. Basically everything I want in a mascara!
Repurchase? Already have.

And that’s everything! What do you think of the products featured in my empties this time? Have you used any of these up yourself? Feel free to comment below!

I love empties posts too! I imagine you will be able to sharpen that lip liner- though I don’t have one from their lip kits so I’m not sure but if it’s the same as their normal lip liners you just sharpen like you would a pencil. Unless they put less product in the lip kits maybe x
