Hi everyone!
If you saw my last post, you’ll know that I recently purchased the Makeup Revolution Re-Loaded Newtrals 3 palette. At £4, I thought the colour selection looked really nice and like something I would gravitate towards. Even if it was a complete dud, I wouldn’t have wasted too much money, so picking it up was a no brainer.
I used this palette to create the latest makeup look featured on my blog, you can see it here if you haven’t already!
Overview & Claims
As I already mentioned, this palette costs £4. I purchased mine from Superdrug, and at the time Makeup Revolution had a 3 for 2 offer on, which makes this even better value!
The palette contains 15 shadows most of which are mattes, however there are 4 gorgeous shimmer shades too, which are a nice addition to the palette.
The superdrug website describes these shadows as ‘smooth and rich shades’ and says the palette contains ‘striking reds, marvelous maroons and a gorgeous selection of golds and browns.’ They describe the palette as ‘highly pigmented’, and ‘easily blendable’.
All of this sounds amazing. But did this palette perform as I wanted it too?
Review
I am absolutely blown away by this palette and I have been reaching for it a lot since I bought it. I love wearing pink tones on my eyes, so those shades have been calling my name a lot!
Before quite recently, I kind of avoided Makeup Revolution as I didn’t think the quality would be there and thought all the products were bad knock-offs, however I was wrong!
These shadows are so pigmented and they blend out really nicely on the eyes – as the claims suggest!
There is a little bit of fall out, but it’s nothing crazy and it can be easily dusted away. The mattes are very opaque – a little goes a long way and I haven’t had to build the colour up on my eye much at all. The shimmers are super impressive – particularly the bronzey gold on the top row! It’s insane!
If you like the colour selection, I would 100% recommend purchasing this palette. I will definitely be trying out some more Makeup Revolution eyeshadows.

I’ve heard only good reviews about the Revolution palettes, and I’m thinking of getting one but there’s so much choice that I can’t decide which one 😀
