September Favourites 2018

Hi everyone!

It’s finally October and like everyone else, I am so happy! This is my favourite time of the year, when things get cosier and the build up to Christmas begins. I have been loving the Autumn aesthetic everywhere, however, I’m flying to Mallorca tomorrow for a week, so the summer vibes are still ongoing here for a week or so!

Today I’m going to share with you all the things I’ve been loving in September, so if you’re interested just keep reading!

L’oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water Moisturiser
I bought this a few weeks back after being recommended it by a friend. I have been using it as part of my skin care range ever since, and I have been loving it. I was nervous to try something different to my trusty Nivea Soft moisturiser, but I fancied a bit of a change, and this didn’t disappoint. It soaks into the skin so fast, it’s 100% non greasy and I think the best thing about this is the lasting effect it seems to have on my face.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Mini Body Spray
I love carrying these mini body sprays in my bag just so I know I always have something with me! This has been my spray of choice in September. When I first tried this when it originally came out, I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, it was a bit too sweet for me. But I’ve completely changed my mind for some reason?! But I’m not complaining, it has been lovely to have with me and I’m sure I’ll finish it up this month.

Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer
I know I am very late to this party, but I have only just bought this concealer about a month back. I wanted it when it first released, however it was always sold out of my shade! But now I have finally got the chance to use it, I really like it. I don’t use it under my eyes as I find it does crease quite a bit. But it is absolutely perfect for blemishes and to highlight other areas of my face. I also am a big fan of the big doe foot applicator.

Anatomicals Tropical Hydrating Face Mask
I’ve clearly been a big fan of hydration this September right?! My skin has definitely needed it due to the colder weather coming in. This mask has been an absolute saviour, and done my skin a world of good. If you’d like to read a full review on this mask, you can do so here.

L’oreal Brow Artist Plumper
My Rimmel brow this way finally ran out this month, so I popped to Superdrug for a replacement. They didn’t have the Rimmel one in stock, so I picked up this L’oreal brow plumper as it looked similar. I love this one! The spoolie is a little smaller which allows for a precise application. This leaves my brows looking defined and a little more ‘natural’ as you can see each hair better. It’s slightly more expensive than the Rimmel one, but you get 7ml of product rather than 5ml.

Mac Prep + Prime Natural Radiance, Radiant Yellow
This one is sort of an honourable mention since I have only used a little sample pot of this primer. I got this at a Mac stand in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago and it turns out I really do like this primer! It allows my makeup to go on smoothly and keeps my skin from looking really dry. I haven’t really noticed if this extends the longevity of my foundation, but I don’t tend to wear my foundations long enough for this to be an issue! I am going to be purchasing the full size of this for sure.

And that’s all for my favourites in September! What do you think of my picks? Let me know your thoughts below!

Jazmin xx

The L’Oreal Moisturiser is amazing, I use this an awful lot and onto my second bottle. So different to other drug store moisturisers. Great post xo
