I hope you are all well. I recently picked up a couple of these Garnier Coconut Water & Hyaluronic acid Eye Tissue Masks from Superdrug – one for myself, and one to include for an upcoming giveaway (keep your eyes peeled for that). I have been impressed by the Garnier tissue masks in the past, so I had hopes that this eye mask would perform as well. If you want to know what I thought about this, just keep reading.
Each eye mask costs £2.99 which is fairly reasonable if it is any good.
Garnier have two eye masks out at the moment: this one, which is a full eye mask. And an orange juice one, which are two smaller masks for under each eye. Both are meant to provide hydration.
Along with providing hydration, this mask is meant to visibly reduce fine lines and replump eye contours. As I have quite dry skin and fine lines under my eyes, I thought this mask could be perfect for me.
The packaging states ‘For tired eyes showing the first signs of ageing… will leave skin looking firmer and feeling revitalised… Intensely hydrates and reduces appearance of fine lines. Eye area will feel replumped and tighter… Skin temperature is reduced.’
I applied this mask around my eyes as the packaging shows. It felt very cold when I first put it on which I was impressed by since I didn’t keep this in the fridge.
I left it on for 15 minutes, during which time my skin felt slightly tingly under my eyes – this happens for me whenever I use products containing hyaluronic acid. I wasn’t worried at all as the sensation was only slight and it is something I am used to (and it doesn’t cause an allergic reaction etc).
When I removed the mask, my under eyes felt and looked both fresh and hydrated! The area appeared smoother than before and I looked awake.
I would definitely use this mask again after an event or when my skin needs a bit of extra help.
All in all, I really enjoyed this mask.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have you used this mask before… Would you be tempted too? Let me know!
