Current Everyday Makeup Routine!

Firstlyyyy, I’ve dyed my hair darker! I feel super strange as I’ve had light hair for years now. But I finally took the plunge and decided to go brunette. So along with a new hair look, of course I’ve altered the makeup I’ve been wearing on a daily basis a little. I wanted to share my current look with you all, so if you’re interested just keep reading.

Step one – Base: I used the NYX Honey Dew Me Up primer (£15) to give my skin a healthy glow. I have been loving this primer lately as my skin appears dryer than usual because of the weather. Next I went in with a mixture of Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless (£12.99) and the Dior Forever Foundation (£31.50). I blended this all together with my favourite Real Techniques buffer brush.

Step two – Eyes: With a Morphe angled brush and spoolie, I filled in my brows using the ABH dipbrow pomade (£19). I added a bit of deep brown eyeshadow from the Morphe Bronzed Mocha palette (£19) to darken my brows a little to match my hair. I then set them in place using the L’oreal Brow Artist Plumper (£6.99). On a Real Techniques flat foundation brush I applied Collection Lasting Perfection (£4.19) all over my eyelid. Then I went back into the Morphe Bronzed Mocha palette. I took the cream shade labelled ‘1’ all over my eyelid on a Morphe s27 brush. Then using the same brush I took the shade labelled ‘2’ in my crease roughly. Once I was happy with this I used the pale brown labelled ‘3’ and applied this in my crease too, bringing it further down onto my lid. Next, using a Morphe s12 I applied the shade labelled ‘4’ and applied it into my crease and onto the outer edges of my lid, and a little on the inner edges. Next I took the darker brown labelled ‘5’ to deepen the eye look, focusing on the outer edges, and buffing it into the crease too. I used a tiny amount of ‘6’ to deepen the very outer edge.
Once the eye shadow was all blended together I took the Soap & Glory Supercat (£6.50) and created a wing on both eyes. I curled my lashes and used a mixture of Maybelline Lash Sensational (£8.99), and Rimmel Wow Wings (£6.99).
On a small Morphe pencil brush I used a mixture of the deeper colours I used on my eyes on my lower lash line. I used The Body Shop Kohl eyeliner in my water line – something I never used to do, but I’ve been loving it lately!

Step three – Finishing: I applied the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer (£24) under my eyes, around my nose and a little on my chin, with a Morphe s4 brush. I then set my entire face with the Max Factor Creme Puff Powder (£6.99) on a big fluffy brush. Next I took the Zoeva Contour Spectrum palette (£15) and used the cooler shade on a Morphe s13 brush to carve out my cheek bones. Then used the warmer shade as a bronzer, applying it on my forehead, nose and cheeks. Next I took a Real Techniques contour brush and applied the Rimmel Lasting Finish blush in the shade Santa Rose (£3.99). I used the last shade on the top row from the Revolution x Soph highlighter palette (£8) to highlight the high points of my face, using a Morphe s26 to do so.
Finally I applied the Revolution x Soph lipstick in the shade ‘Cake’ (£4).
