Empties #8

Hi everyone!

Sorry for my absence over the past week, I’ve been super busy and haven’t had chance to sit down and write! However, I’m missed it this week & I am back now. Today I wanted to post another Empties post as the bag of trash in my room is getting so full so I better get the post written so I can finally bin the empty packaging.

Let’s get started!!

Empties 8

Johnsons Makeup Be Gone Wipes
Honestly, these feature in every single one of my empties posts… what more can I say? I love them, you should try them!
Repurchase? Always.

Nivea MicellAIR Water
Again, something I use all the time and another product I love. We all know how handy it is to have some micellar water and I personally prefer the Nivea one!
Repurchase? Yes.

Garnier Soothing Toner
I’ve been using this for a few months now and I really like the effect it has on my skin. I feel it definitely helps to calm it down and even the tone out. I’ve never felt that toner has done much for me, but this one does for sure.
Repurchase? Yes.

Superdrug & Primark Cotton Pads
Both of these cotton pads are good ones! The Primark ones are literally 50p which is why I’d go for them, but I pass Superdrug every day on the way to work so I do pick them up a lot too.
Repurchase? Yes both of them!

Empties 8 hair

Herbal Essences Daily Detox Shampoo & Conditioner
This combo is one of my favourite affordable hair care duos! I love the scent and how light and shiny it makes my hair. I’d definitely recommend these if you’re looking for something affordable that will do a great job.
Repurchase? Yes at some point.

Sure Cotton Dry Deodorant
I like to use basic deodorants like this one with not too strong of a scent as I like body mists & perfumes for that! This one lasted ages and did the job well. Although I kind of want to try more a natural deodorant some time soon? Let me know any recommendations!
Repurchase? Maybe.

Zoella Snow Silky Body Lotion
I really liked this body lotion as it was such a great consistency that added lots of moisture to the skin, making my legs looks healthy and shiny! The scent of this was also really lovely – although despite this being a Christmas range, it’s not festive to me.
Repurchase? If I could I would.

Empties 8 shower

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Body Wash
Pretty much everyone loves this stuff, and I enjoyed using it! It lathers well and leaves me feeling clean, and it also doesn’t leave you feeling dry and squeaky as some washes do. However, I’ve used so much of it lately that I’m wanting a little bit of a change now.
Repurchase? In the future.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash
Considering it is from the same brand, this one is very similar to the clean on me. I love the scent of this range from Soap & Glory so it was a treat to use this one up in the shower! I also didn’t get bored of this as the bottle is a little smaller.
Repurchase? Yes eventually.

Radox Feel Uplifted Shower Gel
This is honestly one of my fave body washes which I always go back to after using some others in between. The pink grapefruit scent is amazing – one of my fave scents for products. This gel leaves me feeling so squeaky clean, which is actually something I quite like (as long as I apply a body lotion / butter after use) as I feel like the job has been done well.
Repurchase? Yes.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Scrub
I absolutely love this scrub as it really does feel like your skin has been thoroughly scrubbed – unlike some others on the market! Coconut is such a nice scent and TBS is a great natural brand too. I’d definitely recommend this one.
Repurchase? Yes at some point.

Empties 8 face

L’oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray
I’ve had this lying in my drawer for ages and I just don’t use it. I don’t think this hairspray holds my hair in place or keeps a curl either… it just makes my hair look wet! I’ve decided to just bin it and stick to my trusty Bristows hairspray
Repurchase? No.

Nivea Exfoliating Scrub
I really love this facial scrub and I tend to use it 2-3 times a week. It leaves my face feeling really smooth and fresh. I don’t find it too harsh but I can also feel it doing the job which is perfect. Any more than 2-3 times a week would likely be a bit too much.
Repurchase? Already have.

Anatomicals Tropical Hydrating Mask
I really liked this mask! It made my skin feel super soft and it was definitely hydrating. Makeup went on much nicer after using this, and one sachet provided about 4/5 uses!
Repurchase? Yes when I see it somewhere.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Even though I’ve been using the Nars Complete Soft Matte concealer more now, this one is still one of my firm favourites, and it’s so much cheaper! For the price the coverage and lasting power are amazing. Everyone knows how great this is, so there’s no need for me to go into detail. If you’ve still not given this a go, definitely do!
Repurchase? Always.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (Gigi Hadid packaging)
This mascara is one of the best from the drugstore in my opinion – it provides me with length and volume without looking clumpy. This limited edition packaging is super pretty too –  but the actual product is luckily the exact same.
Repurchase? Yes (normal packaging).

Empties 8 makeup

Eyeronic Lashes Mulan & Ursula
Eyeronic Lashes is one of my favourite lashes brands as they are amazing quality, stay looking lovely for a lot of uses, and are pretty affordable too. There’s loads of styles to choose from on their website. I really liked Mulan and I’ll probably pick those ones again. Ursula were slightly too dramatic looking for my liking, but it’s all personal preference I guess!
Repurchase? Always from this brand.

MyLeah Lashes F27
Although slightly more dramatic than my usual lash preference, these lashes are really nice! I think this brand is more tailored towards makeup artists as I had these put one when I had my makeup done. However, I thought I’d include them in this post anyway!
Repurchase? If I could.

Duo Lash Glue
This is the lash glue I use to apply all of my lashes and I’ve never had a problem with it. It sticks my lashes on well and dries down to be invisible. It’s also easy enough to remove.
Repurchase? Yes.

Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Gel
I enjoyed using this brow gel as it defined each of my brow hairs and set them in place. It gave them a bit more volume too whilst looking natural. I’m currently using a similar product from L’oreal, but I’ll probably use this one again in the future too.
Repurchase? Probably.

Max Factor Face Finity Foundation
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that this is one of my favourite drugstore foundations. It’s a bit more expensive than some of the others in the drugstore, but the coverage is amazing and the finish is great too – matte but not TOO matte or flat looking. It lasts really well throughout the day too.
Repurchase? Yes.
