Handbag Essentials

Hi everyone,

Today I wanted to share my handbag essentials with you – the things I constantly have in my handbag & what I really couldn’t live without. So if you’re interested in finding out my handbag must haves, just keep reading!

Current Lipstick
I never leave home without sticking the lipstick I’m wearing that day in my handbag! You never know when you might need a touch up, even if I’m only nipping out for a while. The one which was in my bag when I decided to write this post was the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Nude York.

Rubis Switzerland Tweezers
I was recently gifted these stunning rose gold tweezers from the brand and they’ve gone straight into my handbag, replacing my old plain black pair. How many times have you been out and noticed a stray eyebrow hair? I literally do it all the time, maybe I have an obsession since I pluck my own eyebrows (no one else has ever touched them) but I know I need some tweezers in my bag, and these ones are great!

Lip Balm
I always like to carry a lip balm around with me incase my lips feel super dry. After eating anything greasy I tend to remove my lipstick to reapply – and some definitely need a good lip balm underneath. The one in my bag at the moment is the Ted Baker one, which is really moisturising.

Twist & Spritz Bottle
This is another item I was recently gifted. This is from The Fragrance Shop and it’s super handy to have in my bag! If I’m wearing a specific scent – such as my Viktor & Rolf Bonbon perfume, I can put a little bit in this pretty bottle so I can top up my perfume during the day – without carrying the entire perfume bottle around.

Mini Zoella Body Mist
I own sooo many of these mini Zoella fragrances that I will always have one in my bag. They’re affordable so I don’t mind spritzing myself with them lots throughout the day. The one I currently have in my bag is Sweet Inspirations – but I tend to mix it up!

2019 Diary
I always have my diary in my handbag too! It’s handy so I can check when I’m free wherever I am, and make other plans when needed. I am someone who uses a diary for every single thing so I’d feel lost without it. I have a small one so it’s easy to carry around, but if you have a full size one, I guess putting it in your handbag may be a little unfeasible.

Hairpins
As a girl, you really never know when you might need hair pins. If I have a flyaway hair, I just reach into my bag and sort it right out. I mess with my hair a lot, and more often than not I actually also have a hairbrush in my bag too… which is totally ridiculous considering it’s full size.

I use a diary for anything too, really!! Very nice post, I don’t carry that much in my handbag tbh, maybe only my wallet, ID, earphones, keys and lip balm XD

Totally agree that lipstick and lip balms are one of the first things I add. I usually have a notebook with me too. I really need to get my hands on one of those perfume things, I’ve been meaning to pick one up for so long!! x
